Is that a 2-2-2 arrangement?

Looks like it leaves enough room for each seat to fully lie flat. The second row of seats looks like 3, that first row might be an emergency exit.

The commercial airline configuration was 2-1-2 for 1st class.

The Pats saw Goodell spending a lot of time around the jet the last time they chartered a flight and decided to not take any chances.

Since the CameraPlacementGate and DefameGate have failed to bring the Pats back to the rest of the NFL*, BB decided to be proactive.

Krafty going into the NFL charter business leasing out plane #2 to other NFL teams?
Bills need to be paid.
Maybe the NFL is a joint partner with best buddy Bob?
Do the Sox lease or own? Bruins? C's?

I read somewhere that they are setting up seats in a way to help with recovery and treatment. Not sure if true. I'll post the link if I find it.

Edit :: It would be good to have injuries looked at on the flight back home. I wonder why they bought two though. The only need it for 11 trips a year (8 road games + 2 preseason road games + SB :D)

Treatment will be done on their separate TB12 Rehab and Recover Plane, Guerrero will fly it and it will accompany them on every road game.

It should have a different theme on the tail, at least for a while:

I dare you to, Krafty Bob!

One in the air and one to spare.

Maybe someone's obsessed with security and wants to launch a decoy.

Pats being the first team to have a team plane gives you a good indication of how cheap owners really are.

Thanks for getting this info for us, Rusty. It really puts this purchase in perspective. If it cost them $9MM to buy and it cost even $15MM more to customize it would still be a prudent purchase.

Remember beyond the Pats, Kraft's paper business is world wide, and in the off season could be utilized for long distance business travel. After that, think of the leasing opportunities. There are a LOT of corporations and people with too much money, who might want to lease "the (currently) 5 rings".

Given the scope of ALL of Kraft's businesses, a purchase like this is not likely much of an extravegance.

Leasing is way way cheaper to the team and avoids liability. It is just that airlines are becoming increasingly unwilling to offer leases, pretty much starting this offseason.

If this is set up with player comfort, recovery, and rehab in mind, it will provide quite an advantage to the team.

I think the Mavericks in the NBA got their own plane a long time ago, but then again Cuban spends freely. It takes some guts. Props to Kraft.

  • Imagine you're at Logan waiting for a flight when suddenly, you see this outside the window at the gate. It's enough to make even the most hardened frequent flyer coil back in fear.

This is the new jet that the New York Jets flew to Denver over the weekend, where the AFC East leaders defeated the Broncos yesterday, 24-20. JetBlue unveiled the ghastly Airbus A320last week, the airline's first fully-branded aircraft.

"We are looking forward to not only seeing our Jets jet in the skies around the New York region, but across the country and around the globe," Jets CEO Woody Johnson said in a statement.

Yeah, that'll be swell. As part of its partnership with the Jets, the airline will refund certain flight purchases if the team wins Super Bowl XLV. I wonder if Patriots fans will have the option not to be refunded for the simple matter of it will be a painful reminder of Jets glory.

In other JetBlue news, the airline announced today it has become the official airline of the TD Garden. Great. Now, can we get something in black and gold to combat this monstrosity?

No one I think. The guys I'd look to stash are Moore, Lucien, Carr, Butler, Langi are all having a good camp. Maybe they keep Carr but the other ones they need to either have on the 53 or they are gone.

HeeHee. DID someone get confused re threads ?

If you're going to go to that amount of expense, a simple repainting of the tail is nothing.

Adding a 6th Lombardi to the tail of your airplane = First World Problem.

Life is good for PatsFans.
