Gillette Stadium - Event Calendar
Aug 4: Coldplay concert
Aug 10: Pats-Jaguars preseason game
Aug 12: Revolution soccer game
Aug 25: Kenny Chesney concert
Aug 26: Kenny Chesney concert
Aug 31: Pats-Giants preseason game
Granted it takes a couple days to construct and break down a concert stage, but there is still plenty of time from August 6 to August 23 to hold this annual event.
You need to pick up a pair of TB12 pajamas and you'll understand why the night cannot be interrupted with football.First time I remember this not happening. Anyone know why, specifically? I assume it's a matter of scheduling use of the stadium, or something like that.
Yeah, but isn't there still a big gap from Aug 13-23 where something could have been done?I think the concert combined with the joint sessions made it tricky. I'm sure there's other things too.
there on the road twice during 8/13-23. With the joint sessions planned they'll be on the road early and days off after each game. There would only be a handful of days left and BB might not wanted to commit or maybe they do have some stadium ops to take care of or another event.Yeah, but isn't there still a big gap from Aug 13-23 where something could have been done?
I know there are joint practices at Houston (Aug 15-16) and something like a joint walk-through at Detroit Aug 24, but that should still leave plenty of options for one night practice.
It should be as simple as changing a day practice to a night practice. It's not rocket science for the Gillette Stadium staff.
The only other thing I can figure is if there are some construction or maintenance projects within the stadium. If that was the case though, why not get that done in May, June or July?
Maybe some sort of covert stealth part of the plan for the fifth banner? That doesn't make sense either though, since the Pats are at home in preseason week four - which means everyone would see any change to the stadium.
It's not a big deal; it just seems odd to me.
Yes, the practice both inside the stadium and on the outside fields during the season. Also in the fieldhouse.Do they practice inside the stadium during the regular season it is it still on the fields outside?
