The Rat birds are already getting hit with the injury bug.

RB - Kennith Dixon is out for the season - knee injury.

Now they are reporting that Flacco will be out 3-6 weeks, with a disk issue in his back. That does not sound good.

Joe Flacco reportedly out up to 3-6 weeks

I have yet to shed a tear.

Don't wish injury on anyone and I hope Flacco recovers.. but as far as the Ravens are concerned I won't lose a minute of sleep if they lose games over this

If it is six weeks (or more), then the Ryan Mallett era could begin (for at least one game) for the Ravens.

The team is spinning this injury differently than Rapoport, resulting in other sites reporting it will only be a week (espn) or two (sports illustrated).

Colts and Ravens haven't been able to steer the ship after defamegate, what a wonderful thing. I'm starting to believe in God.

Hope Flacco recovers well, but I wonder if he's starting to breaking down.

I think Mallet will do well in Jump Ball Joe's offense. He's got the arm to do it.

Hopefully he recovers and they make the playoffs, then the Pats can beat them without the Ravens offering any excuses..

There's a certain "class" of media outlets already saying that this is Kaepernick's chance to get back into the NFL*.

Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha......................................

I hope he ends up detailing cars at some backwater dealership, though some small part of me hopes that Balmer brings him in for a test drive, and that he fails miserably.

One of those "class" of media outlets reporting this is Adam Schefter about 5 minutes ago on Mike and Mike. As a Pats' fan, I'm a **** load more concerned with the Ravens QBed by Kaepernick than I am freaking Ryan " Meathead" Mallett.

That's the part we as fans don't like thinking about.

Sure he's starting to break down, the human body wasn't designed with playing football in mind.

I personally dont see Ravens as playoff caliber this year.....esp with Jump Ball Joe out 6 weeks...

Nah, they'll just say we used some illegal formations or something

Oh come on, they don't know how to lose to the Patriots without making excuses. Harbaugh has a random-excuse generator in his office.

The artificial turf is too artificial.
The grass is too grassy.
The weather is too cold.
The weather is too hot.
The balls are under-inflated (oops, they actually tried that one...by proxy).
They follow the rules too closely (another one they tried).
They don't follow the rules closely enough (another one everybody's tried).
They don't give us enough warning when they use a trick play.
Belichick is mean.
Brady should retire...he's too good.

I thought it was a horrible signing when they threw fort knox at him, I think it is still horrible.

Injury aside, I just never saw him as a franchise QB and have seen enough sub par to just good qb's win the damn SB.

Imo Newsome is one of the better gms out there but has been handicapped by JBJ's contract to assemble a better "team" for the Ravens. However in the end, Ozzie agreed to the contract so he can live with it.

Get well soon JBJ, the league won't be the same without Wr's stopping their routes midway and forcing Designed PI penalties by having CB's run into them.
