Peyton Manning is hypothetically the best hypothetical quarterback of all hypothetically time. Meanwhile Brady is the actual GOAT in the sense that all the greatest-of-all-time **** he's done actually ****ing happened. Which--and call me crazy here, rein me in if this is a bridge too far--I think actually matters.

But if Manning had Brady's coaching and played for the Patriots, he would have become the metaphysical master of the universe, presiding over its laws and quantum movements. Manning would place a higher emphasis on hypoethetical achievements than actual achievements.

Best of the other 9 (Favre, Young) - won at least one playoff game 9 times.

If I understand this correctly, Favre and Young combined won at least one playoff game on 18 occasions and combined for 2 rings.

Eli Manning won at least one playoff game 2 times and has 2 rings. He might be the luckiest player in the history of sports.

Lay off Irsay's stash, Tony. It'll inhibit your reason and rot your brain.

Am I the only one doesnt think Peyton would ever taste 5 rings under our coaching staff? He is a great QB and BB is a GOAT, but I say 3, 4 max. Peyton chokes in big games and less playoff clutch.

For the knee jerk irrational Patriot haters I like to point out he had Steve Young over Joe Montana. Sorry for being redundant at first.

Well of course he can't run...he's got 5 Lombardi Trophies weighing him down.

Belichick would have coached peyton up so that he would have gotten 3 rings.

I don't know how Peyton would have responded to Belichick's coaching. He probably would have lobbied to have him fired. IIRC Jim Mora was one of the first that Peyton threw under the bus in order to deflect criticism.

Let's not forget that he wouldn't have spent most of his career playing indoors, with James Harrison, Reggie Wayne, Edgerrin James, Dallas Clark, etc. on offense. And to anybody that says Indy had nobody on defense, there's Dwight Freeney, Robert Mathis and Bob Sanders.

On the other side of the coin I could see Brady performing very well with Howard Mudd as the offensive coordinator, and with continuity of the players listed above. The Pats on the other hand had a seven year stretch with six different leading receivers.
