I was hoping to take him down the Duke lacross story and then lead him into his Matt Walsh lie. After hearing his comments about Adam Jones I can see how he ran with Walsh.

Sorry that I missed this, but I've been busy. Apparently my post provided some entertainment, but not in the way that I would have hoped. On the bright side it helped me update my ignore list.

I didn't call on Saturday originally because I knew the show had plenty of time left and I was picking up a sandwich for my darling wife. What I didn't know, because I hadn't been listening and I no longer follow MLB, is that the show was being cut off for a Red Sox game.

No. I was hoping to catch him with his "I don't need facts" attitude in the Adam Jones story and work that into the Matt Walsh story.

Wow! Thank you for recognizing the problem. I'm not the sports talk show type but I thought that I had him. Unfortunately the bouncer got me before I got in.

It went exactly as you described but I didn't say that I wanted to challenge him. All I said was the topic and the man insisted on knowing if I agreed with them. When I hesitated he gave me a quick thank you and hung up.

The only time I put on my tough guy act is with the people that call me randomly on a daily basis. I don't care if they're calling for donations or whatever, this is what I tell them in a very deep & psychotic voice.....

"Stop calling me, I know where you live....click"

It only works sometimes. Another trick I have is answering the phone talking like an elderly woman who's going senile
