Stacking My Board For Day Two

Moreau has really grown on me. I wouldn't mind him at 72, depending on who is still on the board. He's crazy athletic.

Great job, reamer. Might be the best corner available (esp. in the future). Wonderful redshirt alternative to Sydney Jones. Could fall to 3rd since 2017 is basically out of the question..

According to Tony Pauline of DraftAnalyst.com, UCLA cornerback Fabian Moreau’s chest injury was apparently quite serious, as he suffered a torn pectoral muscle and has already undergone surgery.

Those are usually four-to-six-month injuries, so it’s conceivable that he could return to the field at some point this season. But it should still be enough to harm the draft stock of a player who might have been a first-round pick.

Willis WILL go in the top of the 2nd by reports.

Anderson impressed so many teams w his character that they don't see him sliding to 3rd anymore although going by 1st round everything still in play..

Tomlinson as well..

They're on to our good guys Im afraid..

I do think a lot of the prospects we like will start flying off pretty quickly and we might get left with the pieces. the good news, is that the pieces are pretty good this year. I can see Melifonwu, Maye, Basham and Willis all gone by the end of the 2nd and those are the ones I really want.

Yes, I have the same inkling, but I'm sure there will be players available that will help the team. Here's one example of a 2nd and 3rd round mock that looks favorable overall.

Rounds 2-3 mock draft: Steelers stop DeShone Kizer's slide

They have the Pats taking Justin Evans with several board favorites at DB, DE and LB still available.

Hmmm...

I wouldn't be surprised. We've been linked to Evans before, and we've met with a lot of safeties. He's a player.

Apparently uber-athletic, too. With numerous technique issues, partly due to being overaggressive. Possibly fixable, though.

I'd be okay with that.

The Pats could certainly use a 4th safety who can actually play.

I've been thinking today that if we do go OL, there's a small chance that Ethan Pocic might be of interest. It's rare to have a player who can truly play 5 roles at a decent level. He's not my favorite center, and he loses leverage battles when he doesn't get low enough, but you can see the movement skills and quickness. He's smart and aggressive, and would be active on game days even if he didn't start, because he could legitimately back up each spot along the line.

He's ok but Id be surprised. Lots of better more Pat like options even later in the draft. Probably put him there for his versatility CB/FS/PR like they tend to do with mocking Pats. With Basham, Rivers, Moreau, Anderson, Walker, Dorian Johnson, Tabor and McMillan! on the board - no way. Not to mention Langi!
_

Id love it if it would fall that way. Basham - McMillan double possible!
Or Moreau-Walker-Langi! (with some Asiata/Davenport in-between)
But this guy was way off before..

On NFL mock I have on the board ..

at #72 Feeney, Moton, Tabor, Shaheen, Maye, Basham, Pocic, Willis, Asiata, Leggett, Rivers

at #96 CB Lewis, Anderson, Kittle, Anzalone, Holden, Walker etc.

72: Basham, Maye or Willis. Perfect board here.

96: Probably Holden or Davenport if he's there. My heart says Kittle though.

still some overview..
