Hated to see Big Vince on the opposite side of the field ......

He was always a Patriot to me..

Will soon be making a stop in the Pats HOF. IDK if he makes the pro football HOF. He has a decent chance as he was the best nose tackle of his generation imo but i wonder how much that is valued.

I don't think there is a single true nose tackle on the HOF.

I'd like to see Big Vince call it a career. He looked way too big last year. I suggest that he give Oprah a call and join her latest business, Weight Watchers.

If true, then it's been a hell of a ride, big guy. Thanks for all the memories.

Come back for a day, retire as a Patriot.

"I think anybody would do the same thing, I saw the lady in there and asked her if she was OK, could she move. She grabbed my hand, and kind of talked her through [it]. It wasn't a big deal; it was seeing someone that needed help and helping. I was just trying to get her to safety."

I thought he played real well for the Texans las two years. Honestly thought he was paid in part to bring the "culture" but he earned it.

Hats off to an incredible career that never will show the stats except in the most important category, winning.

Funny thing is I think the NEP could actually us him for a few snaps this year. Brown, Branch, Valentine and VW is a nice rotation. With that said I think he is done. He seemed very slow out there.

Nonetheless I'd like to see him drop some weight though. Not only could he regain some quickness but his family has a history of diabetes and heart disease.

At any rate he needs to retire a NEP. One of the greatest players and human beings to wear the uniform.

Wilfork already said he was pretty sure he was going to retire. I took that as he was done.

I remember being so impressed by him on radio after he was drafted that I had to sit in my car and finish listening to him before I went back to work.

He made a great first impression on me and only improved from there. You could tell he was a leader even at the beginning, but we couldn't have imagined how great he would become.

Thanks for the memories Vince.

Another example of "Bill moves from a player without hurting feelings". He returns, hugs people, laughs a little. Vince is arguably the second most "key" player of the BB era. Obviously, it's debatable (and obviously whomever WOULD be #2 would be a very distant #2...).

I thought we'd already know this months ago. Nevertheless, I'll miss seeing him out there on Sundays.

I can actually see Vince waltzing right into the BBQ business.

Vince guaranteed Pats HOF.. but somehow Bianca will try to be in the limelight all the way. Have a difficult time with her need to be part of Vince's news..

He definitely deserves to be in Canton but they are too busy putting in wide receivers and undeserving owners.

Ted Johnson! Welcome to Patsfans.com!!!

I'm sure that Vince will retire as a Patriot.
