The most pissed off Patriot Rex Burkhead
Most pissed off non Patriot player Legarette the soon to be Giant or Packer Blount

Umm why would Burkhead be pissed? As usual I don't understand your thinking.

Or oft injured Dion Lewis. Remember, to BB, availability is more valuable than talent. I think one of Lewis or White might not be on the final 53 man roster.

Lewis was one of my favorite players in 2015, and he took over the #1 role once he returned in 2016, but as stated... he had to return. Again.

White is a lock. He's been one of the best receiving backs in the NFL and just set the record for most receptions in a SB.

White is a reliable pass catcher on 3rd down. He will be here for the upcoming season. Dion Lewis has shown amazing athletic ability. I expect him to stay as well. The two of them kind of back each other up, though White is a better pass protector and Lewis a better runner.

Burkhead can also catch the ball out of the backfield as well as run the ball on first and second down. Gillislee is more of a true Blount replacement. He has size and can run between the tackles.

Yeah. I think Lewis might be more at risk than White. It would be a shame because he was a fun watch.

Two headed rushing attack of Burkhead and Gilly. Two headed 3rd down/catching attack of Lewis and White. Then add to that a WR corps that is 5-deep. And the best TE in football returns to the offense. The Pats will be STACKED to the gills on offense in 2017!!

Is this the return of the FU tour? I could see a repeat of 2007. BB covers his mouth and utters into his headset "Run up the score Tommy, run it the hell up!!"

RB1 - Gillispie, Burkhead
3dRB - Lewis, White
ST - Bolden
FB - Develin
OWR - Mitchell, Hogan
Slot/multi WR - Edelman, Amendola, Cooks, Burkhead (placed here to denote my theory on his usage diversity)
TE - Gronk, Allen, TE3 (Williams?)
QB- The (not quite holy) Trinity
OL - Solder, Thuney, Andrews, Mason, Cannon, Fleming, the rest TBD

Seems pretty set

Potential to be a decent offense.

He's not spectacular, but he's a one cut and go runner that can break the initial tackle. The Gators leaned heavily on him a few years ago to produce offense. He's a very good fit in this system.

White is a great receiver. Gillislee, not so much. I don't see how the signing affects Sweet Feet James.

If they really think White's a potential issue, Burkhead/Lewis would work as 3dRBs. I don't see it happening, but it's the only way that poster's position about trading White makes any sense to me.

I'd like to see some ol depth but damn that's a talented and deep group.

That is 6 RBs......Seems like a lot. Did they carry 6 last year? Think it was 5

Blount, Lewis, White, Boldin, Develin...am I missing somebody? Ahh, Foster.

It's pressing the numbers and it will require a player getting cut from somewhere else, which is part of why I think Burkhead's going to be doing some slot work in preparation for life after Amendola and/or Edelman.

Of course, that's assuming they keep 3 QBs...

I really liked Foster, not sure he is the man out, especially after some offseason work. Competition breeds winning

I keep seeing Sammy Morris in this guy.
