I think one important thing to consider is that a display of clown noses is not so much about the past but about the future. We need to make the point that if anyone sets up the Patriots like this again there will be consequences for whoever does it - public humiliation for one. I'm sure some (Wells? Goodell?) already regret what has happened to their reputation and public perception as a result of deflategate, and maybe with hindsight might have been less enthusiastic about following the wishes of the owners. Lets make it harder for the owners to find people willing to do their dirty work due to the risk of public humiliation.

OK, sorry it's so large. I grabbed this and tweaked it in ms paint.
I will be inkjet printing it onto a T of my choice ( white or blue)View attachment 16721 for Thus in Sept.

People, you are complicating something that is simple. Just get this word out. Anyone can legally grab this image from google image. Buy a few sheets of the transfer at Staples or Office Max and iron it on a T of your choice. No need to get barstool involved and no need to raise 150k.

I'm not feeling it.

Noses, clown shirts, all of it will be turned against us by the haters (media & rest of the country). They will turn this into something like our being spoiled needing to have our cake (Lombardi) and devour it too (Goodell).

We need something better - I don't know what it is but with all football world watching, there is an opportunity here to help them to understand what really happened. At the very least, some kind of vindication for the way the Brady name has been tarnished is in order.

There has to be a better way to communicate here.
Forget it - they will never understand because they don't want to. I am wearing a clown shirt for ME. I want to show Roger and the rest of the world what I think of him. He apparently was upset when Matt Patricia wore it. I and several thousand of my closest friends want to recreate the feeling for him. To hell with what anyone else thinks, but in reality, I think a lot of folks will think it's hilarious. If they don't , who cares?

All very good questions. There are certainly enough pats fans around the world to make $150,000 a pretty small amount to raise. Getting the message out and convincing people to give is another story.
I would think barstool would work with a group to make this happen, but again, how much help and whether they'd be convinced we can follow through is another story.
In order to pull it off, we'd probably need official backing by patsfans or some other known entity that people would trust is going to actually pull it off. @Ian mentioned in this thread something about having ideas and whatnot, but no specifics and, so far, no follow up.
I've mentioned a couple of things but it's going to take more than me backing it to make it a reality. I'm trying to find a couple of things out before I move forward with a plan and want to make sure it's something we can pull off. I'll obviously be on site that night and it will take the help of probably 50-75 people to pull anything off given the limited time we would have around the stadium to get the word out and hand out whatever we'll be handing out before the gates open and people start going into the stadium. Every person needs to be holding/wearing whatever we do for this to work, so we'll have to be completely all-in and I don't feel confident with just getting the word out because not everyone is as focused on this as many of us are.

The next thing is, I need to make sure we won't be facing any additional issues over that process while we were there that would blow it up and make it a colossal waste of time and money if we were to get shut down. Obviously once we move forward, I definitely won't be able to do this without crowdfunding, which I'm not going to even start for this until I'm sure it can be done.

There's more to this than some might think, and I'll definitely post something once I have more concrete information. I'd love nothing more than to embarrass him in a major way that night, but I want to make sure we can definitely get it done.

I'll bump my own post.

I agree that it would be easier if everyone did this, but I don't think most will. Even if you get 10,000 people to do this, in a stadium of 65,000 people, 10,000 won't have a big impact and not the impact that an entire stadium would.

As for Barstool, if they collaborate with us, and we work out the distribution and logistics, and they pay the costs ($150,000 is not a big fee for the press/advertising they'll get), it would make this all easier.

I have tried contacting them again to see if they'd be interested, if not I've been working on some other Goodell clown artwork for shirts that we could get printed ourselves if we run a successful gofundme campaign.

Thanks for the update, Ian.

I understand that there's quite a bit of logistics involved, and you don't want to start anything official until there's a reasonable certainty that whatever is planned is what gets delivered. Put me down as someone who is willing to put in some effort to make this happen, including on site, game day activities. I won't be going to the game, but would definitely travel there for this purpose.

Your right....I'm going to buy TWO of the cool blue roger clown shirts, one for me and one to give away at the stadium to whomever wants to wear it.

If Ian comes up with something...count me in.

Either way, I think the shirt says it all and that is a message I choose to send by wearing it around and to the game.

I have another design in mind and will move forward with it if the distribution angle gets worked out. The key thing is making sure we can follow through before we get there with 68,000 things to hand out that we're unable to distribute.
