I hope this is OT, but who knows.
The DEA is looking into this.
Interesting , but long article.
But filings in the federal lawsuit show an October 2014 NFL survey — with responses from 27 of 32 teams — indicated an average of 26.7 players out of 53 on a team were still taking Toradol on game days.

Pittsburgh Steelers physician Anthony Yates testified that players were still lining up for “the T-Train” — pregame Toradol injections — last season.

What these guys go through to play.....

Jesus.

This is a much more serious thing than ball deflation, and the Seahawks have a history of doing stuff. I want to see how many 1st round picks they are gonna lose.

Considering that I get spasms on my back after shovelling snow, I can't imagine what these guys go through.

Something with actual, far-reaching and possibly criminal implications?

I'm sure ESPN and their ilk will give us just the sort of hard-hitting journalism they'd give us if it was reported that Brady peed in a public pool.

I've had toradol shots for pain, could barely stay awake.... How these guys play on it is beyond me...schitt works though

I'm guessing ibuprofen makes you sleep, too, then?

You laugh, but Mort is using your post as his "source" when he breaks news on PeeGate tonight...

Somehow this will still be a better "source" than whoever fed him the Deflategate ********.

We need to divorce sports medicine from roster and playing time decisions in every sport. Or at least some level of separation and the ability for a team doctor to hold off both a Head Coach and a player when he knows darn well that doing what it would take to get a guy suited up would wreck them.

For every epic Bloody Sock moment there are dozens of people like this guy. And I bet money Schilling still feels that ankle in bad weather.

I am sure they will be given 1st round picks to compensate for the competitive disadvantage they are now at since their drug program is out in the open.

Don't care what you think of the man, wishing anyone pain makes you, personally, a pathetic excuse of a human being.
Ask the people of Rhode Island what they think.

Scary stuff:

"Here in Washington state, Wunsch has fought for more than two years to win workers’ compensation for his physical and mental ailments. The Seahawks have opposed him at every step — even hiring private investigators to conduct surveillance of him — and the state’s Department of Labor & Industries initially denied Wunsch’s claims."

I don't care what they think. Regardless of Schilling's post-baseball career, wishing pain on anyone is pathetic.

Wrong. There is nothing, NOTHING, more important that ball inflation. :)

Wrong and I can prove it. Roger Goodell. :)

I don't wish pain on Badell. Humiliation yes, embarrassment yes, but in the words of the Dread Pirate Roberts I want him to give a long, healthy life, alone with his cowardice.
