Is Scott Zolak still running around NRG Stadium?

If you think that call was great...listen to the entire call....from about the 4th quarter on.

I just treated myself to a midday cigar, cognac, and headphone experience of this call. It was like watching again for the first time!!! Damn... great stuff... fun to hear Zolak make the trip from pallbearer to the incredulous joy that we all experienced. LOL Thank you so much!!!! :)

What was he like halfway through the third quarter?

Yes, he's good on the game broadcasts, but he belongs on a major market 10-2 sports radio talk show expounding on baseball and basketball like I should be on talking about rodeo and curling. He's awful.

He's awful on game broadcasts, too. Move him back to sideline reporter and get a new color man. Hell, get a new play-by-play man, too.

The only worthwhile part of Felger and Mazz is listening to Bob Sucky fake laugh throughout the entire interview. Zolak can't even sniff Bledsoe's jock. Meathead.

Boston Sports Media needs an enema.

I thought Zolak was a cult hero amongst Pats fans? I read it in a column earlier this year. I don't listen to 98.5 so can't attest to his insights on all things sports.

Zo replaced the methodical, monotone Gino Capaletti and has brought new life and energy to the position of Patriots "color man"... of course describing a really great team does not hurt..

Being forced to listen to many games in the past on the radio because of work or black outs with Gino as the color man, will take Zo any day of the week..

Not sure he has found his niche on talk radio, while I like his energy, he often gets "bullied" by his partners, Gresch and Bertram, neither of whom can I stand..

Thanks to some incredibly bad planning at work, I was on a flight to Dubai that took off 15 minutes before kickoff. Thank you Delta for the ghetto 767 we were on that had no live video streaming. It did have wireless though and after spending the better part of the first half searching for something that was streamable on that flight, I found the broadcast from 98.5.

It was an amazing experience listening to these guys broadcast the greatest game in the history of...history.

Awesome! Downloaded this to my phone like a podcast and listened to it on my commute today. Never smiled so much in traffic as I did this morning.

Regards,
Chris

Gino capelletti was the best.
