More fnord straw man crap.
I'd enjoy discussion/debate with you so much more if you could tone down the attitude, dude. I tend to learn a lot from discussions with you but a lot of the time it involves having to filter out how you come across. Which is a shame because it definitely erodes my desire to engage with you.
Done the internal appeal (doomed though it may have been) so people couldn't say "he knew it happened -- he didn't even appeal."Not made that ridiculous "we accept it" speech.
Already addressed by Bob himself, he thought that by going along with what the league said they'd go easy on Brady. You can choose to believe him on this or not but I have a hard time thinking that Brady and Belichick would still be here if he was lying.
Not constantly playing kissyface with Roger.
I said pretty much the same thing in my post. It's inexcusable but the Bendover Bob trope seems deeply rooted in more than just his indefensible comments about Roger.
Being way more supportive of Brady from the beginning. I still remember his ridiculous "Well, I hope those players who deserve to play will be playing" remark before the 2015 opener. The loser couldn't even mention Brady by name.
Pretty much the same answer here as the answer to point 1, you can either believe that Kraft wasn't crossing the league in hopes that they'd go easy on Brady or not. Again - Brady's actions would seem to me to indicate that you're way off here.
If Brady felt hung out to dry by this team he'd be gone not talking extension.
Going on a real PR offensive.
If the website and his PC weren't enough for you then you have unrealistic expectations. He went on national goddamn TV and said he was wrong to trust the league office. Did you want him to say Goodell sucks baby ****s? If saying the league was dishonest isn't enough for you I'm not sure anything would be.
Not kowtowing to the "here are the real PSI numbers but you can't tell anyone -- hahahaha" letter from the NFL.
C'mon. You're way too smart for this type of crap. You know that Bob Kraft doesn't sit in an office reading letters and then makes unilateral decisions, he's a businessman running a billion dollar product. There's no chance he didn't consult with his lawyers and then what else could they have done? What conceivable course of action should they have taken? Publish the results they were given that made them look bad? Or publish the results calling them lies and weaken the position he claims to have taken which is that by going along with the team punishment the league would be easier on Brady?
Even if you disregard the rest answer me these questions:
If Kraft is such a traitor then what about Brady? How can you defend Brady's actions and relationship with the Krafts if the Krafts weren't on his side as you contend? Because Brady wants to stay here and will likely take yet another team friendly deal to stay with his traitor owner. Does that sound like the Brady we've come to know through the years?
Because unless it does then it implies that everyone calling Bob a traitor is way off.
