I have seen this on multiple mock drafts.

I have followed peppers since high school This would be a mistake I believe.

He was the nations number 1 Corner coming out of High school he was moved to linebacker due to lack of coverage skills.

at 6-1 207 He struggled in run support at UM I do not see how he plays linebacker in the league.

He excelled on offense and special teams I believe he is a better offensive player than defensive player.

He caught 1 career Int in his 3.

most of his impact plays on defense are when he is unblocked and they get him free peppers also seemed to struggle vs higher caliber teams.

his best games are vs

OPP RESULT TOT SOLO AST SACK FF INT YDS AVG LNG TD PD
9/3 Hawai'i W 63-3 8 6 2 1.0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
9/10 UCF W 51-14 11 7 4 0.5 1 0 0 0 0 0 0
9/17 Colorado W 45-28 9 6 3 1.0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
9/24 Penn State W 49-10 4 3 1 0.0

he also had a break out game vs rutgers a terrible eam

vs elite schools his states drop to 4 and 5 tackles a game

What are you guys thoughts?

Someone else will take him. Instead of looking at high profile talent, it's best to search obscure players if you are looking for future patriots.

About the only guy I remember linked to NE that ended up here : CB Darius Butler who was shipped out & has had moderate success in Indy.

Did he play multiple positions in college because he was not good enough to
remain at one position?

I don't know if I would even take him at 64.

Give me someone like Zach Cunningham, Chris Wormley, Taco Charlton, David Njoku, Tim Williams, Christian McCaffery, Hasson Reddick or Carlos Watkins at 32.

Hell in terms of Safeties I would rather have Budda Baker, Marcus Williams, Marcus Maye, Josh Jones, Rayshawn Jenkins, Obi Melifonwu and Eddie Jackson over Peppers.

He was versatile, but I think Harbaugh misused him. I think he tried to get him to play a ton of different positions and do a lot of things to maximize his Heisman chances, which in turn might help on the recruitment trail.

He rarely seemed comfortable, always felt like he was thinking instead of playing, probably from the versatility overload. It would have been better to let him just sit in one position and master that.

I don't know if he's as good as I thought before, but with proper coaching, could potentially be a monster.

Jack of all trades master of none doesn't work in the NFL. He should have stuck with something for 3-4 years and went through the growing pains.

He is either a WR or SS in the NFL. He could be a SS/LB but really that is just a SS that plays LB like Chung does. He needs to learn it and it will take some time if he even can learn it.

Going to be a really good player. Hard to pass up on him at 32

Joe Cardona - everyone said we would take him. :D

I would be really reluctant to take a tweener in the first round.

Peppers is a safety in the NFL. He isn't going to play offense. I suppose he could return kicks and will probably be good on special teams coverage units.
He is severely overrated because of his versatility at the NCAA level that won't translate to Sunday's.

Peppers can do anything

Yes please. Very interesting player.

I will say this: I like a lot of Michigan Players Coached By Jim Harbaugh in this Draft not named Jabrill Peppers.
