Tom Brady movie in development

This just screams "quietly dies in development hell", or at least I really f.ucking hope.

Here here.

I'm huge movie buff and as big of a Brady fan as they come, but this is just unnecessary at the present time. Especially since his career is still going strong.

Make a movie in ten years when his career is set in stone and he's been out of the lime light for a little while.

Making a movie now is eye roll material.

The Brady book and film will chronicle the New England Patriots superstar’s come-from-behind win in Super Bowl LI, but it’s not going to shy away from controversy and will include the team’s battle to overcome the Deflategate debacle in 2014, follow Brady’s fall from grace and then his triumphant return to lead the Patriots to his fifth world championship

So... Who is gonna play him?

Movie stalls in production when they can't find anyone in Hollywood attractive enough for the lead.

I have a feeling that in an attempt to appeal to both sides, this movie is instead going to manage to piss off both Pats fans as well as Patriot haters.
Seems to have that potential.

I can hear imagine the credits rolling on screen now:

Terry Bradshaw, played by Phil Robertson!
Bill Belichick played by Bill Parcells!
Stephen Belichick played by Brian Belichick!
Tom Brady played by Casey Affleck!
Randy Moss played by Flava Flav!
Josh McDaniels played by Charlie Weis!
Matt Patricia played by Rex Ryan!
Peyton Manning played by Cooper Manning!
Eli Manning played by Peyton Manning!

Forget what I said, I would 100% throw all my support behind this movie if they cast Peyton Manning as Tom Brady. I would literally allow them to garnish my wages to help fund it.

I've heard this actor (Name: Ivan Sergei) say he's been mistaken for TB12 in the past. I'm sure he's available because I've only seen him once (the movie with Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Anniston).

I have a feeling Roger Goodell and his flunkies are going to be savaged in this movie which makes it a must see when it hits theaters.

This is TB12's revenge people. Showing the double dealing NFL commissioner being the snake he is on the big screen is going to be as good as the dream we had of seeing the Fraudster on the witness stand under oath. It's brilliant!

Come on - you know Edelman wants to audition for the role.

The issue is the actual story sucks balls... Unless they portray the NFL as corrupt and purposefully try and fabricate a story to mess up TB's career and he over comes it. But its not enough to make a good movie out of.

I can totally see a documentary made out of it. A movie though?

Hollywood is too quick these days in taking real life events and then immediately trying to make a movie out of it. Between 9/11 and Marathon Bombing.. those kinda things should be put on hold for a long time. Like the Titanic lol.
