I don't support this because I don't support giving Barstool $1,273,000 (the cost of 68,000 people at $19.00 a shirt). Plus, they stole that pic from Tumblr and made money off of someone else's art without paying them.

That Clown Image is the best! An opening day crowd with that image plastered everywhere would be powerful. Show the nation! NO FAN-BASE LIKES Goodell. Spread the word to New Orleans. Then to Cleveland and everywhere! Imagine every Sunday game day with that image in the crowds in every stadium! The owners would can his ***.

I agree, that is why I'm calling for a cheap knock off - made by barstool, so "knock off" is not right but maybe you know what I'm saying ... cheap materials or whatever.

Otherwise make the shirts gray with that clown nose and say you are getting it from the original. (Like when Mr. Magoo did Snow White and the seven dwarfs and thumbed their nose at Disney because they based it on the Brother's Grimm or whatever.)
We can all rip off the guy on Tumblr.

You bring up a good point. #CLOWNOUT doesn't have to be just at the stadium. It could be done via social media. If Pats fans across the entire world simply changed their avatars to the Goodell Clown shirt picture....ESPECIALLY on opening night...it would definitely get the attention of family/friends/co-workers. It would probably start conversations about why the change, what's this all about, blah blah.

Awareness is the key to everything. Knowledge is power. It might be a smaller effort, but it takes nothing at all, costs nothing, and is effective. Just like folks all did here when Myra Kraft passed and changed the avatars to the MHK. Different circumstances but it's still worth a shot.

I think you can get 60,000 T-shirts printed in China for $2 each. I don't find it hard at all that somebody can sell them for $5 with the Barstool ad on the back. I am sure Barstool will sell 25,000 of them to recoup the ad investment.

I emailed Barstool the other day to see if we could get a quote on the price etc. and someone has responded and said they will call me. As soon as I hear anything, I'll let you know.

While I think this is hillarious and should definitely happen, the biggest middle finger that Goodell could receive if he visits for the home opener, is the Patriots winning the game. The fans should then absolutely add insult to injury, but the injury will happen on the field

A thought that occurred to me was how ironic it is that GOTOHELL is now called the CLOWN, considering his association with the JESTERS. Seems appropriate I reckon.

If that's the case the artist should sue Barstool, damages to be printing 100k shirts free for the game.

I agree with a few of you, Kraft, Brady and the Patriot organization have to stay out of the Clownshirt idea. If the fans think it's the thing to do, go for it. It still will a reflection on the Pats organization but not as bad as if they encouraged it.

How about another idea in the same vein. What if every fan in the stands wore one of those red clown noses? You would have a lot more realistic chance of pulling that off. And if you got every fan to wear one NFL Network would have to take notice and explain why eveyrone is wearing them. You could probably have a Chinese manufacturer make them for 20 cents a piece, maybe even less than that if you order 68,000 of them. So 68,000 x .20 = $13,600. That is an actual realistic goal in a gofundme campaign. Also, they would be a lot easier to distribute outside the gates before the game than bulky T-shirt boxes.

So I started looking at this a little bit more. I found the below Ebay auction as an example. It would only cost $13,904 for 68,000 clown noses at this price. I'm sure we could do even cheaper with such a bulk price.

Kraft would never push the envelope that far.....

Bar stools should look for sponsors & have people outside the gates handing out the Goodell Clown nose T-shirts.
Let them add small advertisements to the shirt.....
