Randy Moss...he speaks so highly of the team & is a total patriot guy... I wish with so much passion that his record breaking year had been crowned with a ring.:(

yeah, but that throw was not the greatest in the world. It was behind. He had to reach for it.

He had to reach for it because he read the coverage wrong and spun the wrong way. Brady put the ball where it needed to be -- away from the oncoming safety.

I wanna say welker, but.....His SB ring was in his hands, and he dropped it. Love the guy and I forgive him for the most part, but I can't feel bad for him because of that.

Jeez..Welker misses one pass..would have been a great catch, too, had he made it but the Pats lost that game as a team. Welker pulled our ass out of the fire so many times on third down that and every other season he played for us. He was just amazing. But not as amazing as the fact that we could not win a SB with him.
Yes, he put himself in a bad position and realized it late and was turning around to get in the right position yet wasn't turned all the way when the ball came so he dropped it. I remember letting out a gasp and then some swear words at the time since it was at such a critical point in the game and it would have made a huge difference, but I'm not going to roast the guy for it. It was really unfortunate that he misjudged it early in the play but those things happen in a long game at the end of a long season, and he's far from the only player who made a mistake that day.

What I will roast him for is the way he left town. He had less than professional attitude about things and could not manage to keep cool and keep himself above the fray. Had he kept his cool he probably could have stayed here with the same deal he ended up getting or better, but he had a 'bleep you' attitude that led him to go to Denver and play with Fivehead, so 'bleep you' right back.

If they would have won in 07, it would have killed this list

Yeah, we would be talking about Woodhead, BJGE, etc. Really amazing how close they were to having every key player win a ring over such a long period.

Welker first, without question
Mankins second
Seau third
Moss last on that list, although the call between he and Seau is close

Moss is on there because of the banner year he had in 2007. Personally, I don't think he should even be on that list. I'm not going to take anything away from his talent, and I loved him as a patriot, but he was a visitor and we all know it.

Seau, Mankins, and Welker were continued assets to this team for the entire time that they spent with the Pats. All 3 are equally deserving. Sorry, love Randy but he isn't a true patriot, or at least not nearly as much as the other 3 in this topic.

Mankins
Welker
Moss

In that order.
