Advanced Subtle Trolling of Other Fanbases

Of course it's easy to troll Jets fans like @JetFan79 ... all you have to do is remind them that they haven't won a Super Bowl since the LBJ administration.

With the latest win, I think we have to evolve our game in trolling other fan bases. We don't have to get into Brady/Manning yelling matches anymore, that issue is long settled. I think we can do subtler things that will hurt worse than screaming our superiority at the top of our lungs.
  1. Be unable to remember details from Super Bowls because the all run together. This could be a group troll, as you need clarification of which Super Bowl you are talking about. "Wait, do you mean the fourth Super Bowl overall, the Fourth Super Bowl of the Belichick era, or the fourth Super Bowl that we won?" "Do you mean the first time we won a Super Bowl in Houston or the second time that we found that great barbecue place?"
  2. Complain that this year's Sound FX/Three Games to Glory/Turning Point/etc. isn't as good as previous years.
  3. Talk about having to donate memorabilia with 4 championships as it's now out of date.
  4. Go over the details of the 2002 season as its the last and only time Brady missed the playoffs.
  5. Ask people what it's like to miss the playoffs if you're under 20.
Any other ideas?
:D i love it.

What would be an alternative word?

It would have to mean: "The intent to disrupt, inflame, annoy - often at any cost no matter how irrational indefinitely." That would be my definition of a real troll.
Troll and trolling are fine. Sambam94 was just providing an excellent example of concern trolling.

Legitimately overheard at the parade: "I don't know why I keep coming to these things. It's a pain in the ass to get here, I end up friggin' freezing my ass off, and the whole thing is over in like 10 minutes."

Kinda OT, but have you guys ever visited Browns forum? Its so sad, but funny at the same time. They will be happy with five wins next season.

We will be angry with less than twelve at this point. We are blessed, but winning has become like a drug for us :D

I think you could have a real serious debate with colts fans that if you add peyton, eli, and archie together they might be better than brady. I mean he still has more rings and playoff wins but their regular season stat would trounce him.

You all are absolutely savage. I'm dying laughing over here...

Personally I don't even know if I have it in me to be rude to other fans at this point. It almost feels like being a millionaire with a model for a wife, then telling other people how broke they are and how their wife is hag. I feel compelled to just be humble and have pity on such people... we are simply elevated to another level now.

I'll be giving more to CARE this year because the kids in Africa won't be getting Patriots Super Bowl LI Champion tee shirts. Oh, I forgot. They're getting Falcons Super Bowl LI Champion tee shirts.

We're not being rude, we're just having trouble remembering which of the 7 Super Bowls Paul McCartney played at.

Slightly OT but when the jets celebrate their last trip to the Super Bowl it's going to look like the last civil war vets walking in a 1940 Memorial Day parade.

To Jets fans:

Do you think Belichick would have stayed on as the Jets HC if Woody had simply let him have player control?

If Woody had given Belichick player control and Belichick brought in his guys do you think the Jets might have drafted Brady?

(I know Jets were going through an ownership transition right around then so not sure the validity of these... questions) :)

Damn, another banner, where are we going to hang it? We had to move them all when we got #4.

The stadium has a serious design flaw, and multi-million dollar renovations are being undertaken to accommodate the fifth banner, and make room for another half dozen.

I just tell my friends who are haters not to worry, the salary cap and draft order will even everything out. Take this years salary cap, the Patriots are barely 63 million under, and they will only have two first rounders after they trade Garrapolo. The Pats are so screwed.
