Getting Gronk back and hopefully resigning Floyd and having him in our system all offseason is going to do SO MUCH to alleviate many of the offensive woes we saw during the game.

Gronk, Edelman, Hogan, Mitchell, Floyd, Lewis, White

That is an imposing lineup and it gets even better if we resign Bennett and restructure Amendola.

Not a single XP kick needed despite scoring 4 TDs (1 missed, 2 2 pts, 0 needed for OT)

Also no Gatorade shower for the head coach.

Those have to be Super Bowl firsts for a winning team.

They really emptied out the playbook of exotic plays in the desperation charge.

Jump the long snapper
Double pass
Surprise onside kick
Jedi mind trick punt return
Fake kneeldown
Direct snap 2 pt conversion

Basically everything but the flea flicker and the ineligble man formation.

Granted, none of those plays WORKED as intended except the direct snap, but still. Goes to show you how much you have to be ready for when playing the Pats.

My palms started sweating even though I knew the final outcome. Such an epic SB.

a more aware team wouldve picked up mitchell's gaffe...very lucky.

There's a rule about giving yourself up. Not sure if that was in play.

ONE impression I had from the replay was how incredibly tight some of those throws and catches were. With the exception of poor coverage on White, Atlanta's D even in the 4th sucked LESS than I had thought. Mostly it was good catches on great throws with good coverage.

While on the subject of Program Alerts:

BB and Edelman are about to appear on the Tonight Show in just a few minutes.

So.......if it was the Super Bowl and a team was "not aware"....what were they doing there in the first place?

Gonna record it and fast forward to about 3 minutes in the 3rd quarter
I like to start right before Atlanta scores their last td. It's great listening to the booth guys counting the Pats out. And then slowly shifting.
