Roger Goodell Still Calling Brady a Cheater: "There Was a Violation"

Ian Logue

It's hard to move on from deflategate when you still have to listen to nonsense coming from the NFL commissioner, and Roger Goodell once again spouted nonsense as he faced the media on Wednesday.

Only thing I would mention is that I don't think it's appropriate for people to continually say "Roger truly believes there was a violation", or anything to that effect, when we know he's a liar and he very likely doesn't believe it. The amount of manipulation and misleading representations of facts (see manipulated picture of the two gauges) in the Wells report show they know they didn't have a leg to stand on. His continued lies thereafter in order to prop up his claim of a violation show he isn't confident enough in the truth to rely on it to prove his point.

Jonathan Kraft says goodell got bad advice and refused to dump the miscarriage of justice in goodells lap. It's really disgusting.

It's interesting though that goodell is changing his mantra a little bit. Now he is admitting that there is disagreement about what occurred. That surprised me but the krafts insist on carrying goodells water so he can get away with not explaining how there could even be a disagreement.

This would make Brady getting MVP all the sweeter.

If he truly believed there was a violation and he was righteous then he would not fear coming to NE for a game.

It would be nice if he told us what the violation was that warranted such a harsh penalty. Double secret probation?

Techically there was a violation since footballs are never supposed to be below 12.5, no matter what, science be damned.

That rule has yet to be fixed. Intentional perpetuation of ignorance for the purpose of CYA.

So, uh, Roger, how about those Steelers??

Roger is a fraud and will never step foot in New England while TB is the QB. The questions that he was asked really painted him in a corner and all he did was deflect the question and not really answer any of them. Good job by the Boston media by pinning him into a corner.
