This is an extrovert playing to his audience. He knows that the majority of those that listen to him dislikes the Patriots, so he coats his "I believe TB" pill with "BB is known for cheating" sugar. Methinks he likes the sound of his own voice too much, and is unaware of science, history and brevity.
The defense of TB was inaccurate - as Tom's phone destruction occurred long after the publication of the Wells Report, so it couldn't have been included within it. But to assert that Tom was innocent, yet others (not natural causes) might have been the instruments of deflation is sloppy journalism at best.
The tale of Mangini is preposterous, and completely ignores the fact that the offense lay in the location of filming, not the filming itself. Does anyone really think Fredo said please don't film me from the sidelines, but you're welcome to any footage you get from the right location? Why can't some media spokesperson point out that filming is still legal from approved locations, and that there is no rule against recording other teams' hand signals?
Like others have pointed out the spying on SB practices is hearsay layered on hearsay, with a complete absence of proof.
Sadly it will not convert anyone to TB's cause, and will confirm the antipathy of those hostile to the Patriots'.
