Things you do during a Pats Playoff game?

I will be in section 333 with my son and we will be as loud as anyone in the house.
Savor those memories, man. I'm sure your son will be doing the same.

I remember punching a hole in my friend's closet in college right after Moss caught "what should have been" the go-ahead TD in SB42 because I thought the game was over....boy was I wrong smdh

Wife, kids and I usually watch W a few buddies and their wives and kids...if I'm not drinking heavily I go crazy and lose my temper. I jump up and down, scream at the TV, and generally, admittedly, overreact big League. Only way I get away W acting like a lout is cuz the wives usually lose interest early and the kids go in the cellar and play Xbox and have the game on down there as well.
Also, sometimes I'll dvr the game and just watch that way - thats best for my blood pressure cuz I don't stew over bad plays cuz I ffw until something good happens.
But if I get bombed I usually calm down and don't go nuts. Tomorrow is a wild card. Was planning on doing the dvr solo thing after the kids were in bed around 9 cuz didn't want to booze, but now people r coming over and I'll probably be pounding beers... GO PATS

Where's the part where you switch pink hats, quit on the Patriots, call them ****ing pathetic and then pine for the beginning of the baseball season? Oh yeah, that's the 2nd quarter.

I love the games. The playing late is very annoying. I fret if it is a close game. I was moaning as Seattle lined up for the run into the endzone. When Butler intercepted I was up and ranting that it's over! My wife, a genial unbothered, non football watcher other than the Patriots, thought that the game was lost. She needed to see the fifteen replays to get what had just occurred. Fortunately we had finished our goodies and snacks, and so we actually shared our last beer in joyous amazement. We will again have the food and wait for the inevitable excitement. No game day thread! No throwing.

I don't have any real traditions anymore, given that I haven't even been in the same place in each of the last four straight years

This year, Kevin Faulk jersey, Pats pajama pants, and I'll make some of these new "Win Steaks" everyone is talking about.

Also, vodka, tequila, and a snickers bar...because I'm not myself when I don't have a snickers bar.

I'm not allowed to watch the game on the widescreen living room TV with the wife and kids. I scream so loud throughout the game that the cats both of them run into the bedroom and hide. I threw my iPad across the living room during Dion's KO return TD last week. I can't believe it still works.

During the playoff games, When the game gets tight, I honestly get in my car and drive and check my phone for game updates. I can't handle the pressure. It's good for the house, the family and the cats that I leave, trust me. I just love this team that much...

Last January I heard about Belichick going for it in Denver on fourth down on the car radio...my heart sank faster than a greased manhole cover even before they failed.

I listen to the Patriots pre game social and put my Brady jersey on- I wear this during every game and since he won his first Super Bowl I haven't washed it. Fortunately I only wear it during Pats games.
I sit in front of my meager 37 incher and I stand up on every 3 rd down and scream for a first down or a stop. On field goals I will stand up and wave to distract the kicker if he is kicking my way and if I have a lot of nervous energy I will charge at the tv as if making a mock effort to block kick. I watch by myself unless for some reason my son is home from college which is rare during January and February. We do text each other frequently during game either celebrating, complaining or strategizing.

Meanwhile my Tom Brady signed foot ball sits on top of the mantle of my fireplace next to my TV undisturbed

I'm going to my buddys house tomorrow at 630am for the NFC game, he's a Packer so it will be interesting to watch his reactions while I nervously wait for our game. Same situation as the 2014 Championship Games. Then it's time for the Patriots and one of my other mates that's going to be there is a Steelers fan. Tensions will be high but we won't kill each other, hopefully. I think I might wear my lucky red Pat Patriot hat. I don't bring it out much any more but I've worn it at 10 Patriots wins out of 1 games including Super Bowl 49.

I'm a tequila man myself. What tequila you drinking tomorrow?

Oh man, I'm nuts. I don't really apologize because the team needs more nut jobs like me screaming for them. I've had notes left on my college apartment doors from above (or below me) asking me to keep quiet the days following games. I'm loud, obnoxious, and I Don't miss a minute. People around me that are impartial enjoy the entertainment I provide or flat out hate me.

During the hawks super bowl, after the interception I ran out in the street and screamed for joy. When I came back a younger guy (hawks fan) grabbed my little pats football and run out Into the backyard and launched my ball into some neighbors yard. Jokes on him - he went and got it back.

OK so what things do you do, wear, eat, any superstitions etc.

My family, all the women watch the game in the family room, my wife and two of my daughters wear Patriots shirts. My son wears a patriots jersey of some kind and paces in the hallway of the family room all game. My other daughter is a pats fan but may or may not watch the game with us, sometimes wears a pats shirt or not.

I watch in the basement, I have a bar down there with a 92" screen, lots of pats memorabilia and signed items. I do not wear any Patriots shirts or gear, I wear a beat up Johnny Damon t-shirt that was worn at both games 4 in St. Louis 2004 and Denver 2007...for the win of course. I never wear a pats shirt.

I do come upstairs to share any special moments or plays but imediately head to the basement once that moment is gone and the next play starts.

We typically order pizza.....sometimes make wings. If they go to the Super Bowl we order pizza delivered overnight from Casserta's in Providence, typically with sauce and pepperoni and no cheese, along with some spinach pies. I live in Denver.

I never drink alcohol during a game until the last few minutes and only if it is a win. If it is a win Im up late watching highlights and having some beer.

My son..he's 27...continues to pace in the hallway LMAO.

Pizza. Wings. 92" TV in the basement.

Are you looking for a best friend or a middle-aged son to adopt by chance ;)

I watch by myself. No one likes to watch with me. Say I go too crazy, act a fool when one bad play happens. Face turns blood red the whole game etc
Huh, like looking in a mirror.

U really r a 1 trick pony, eh?
