Pittsburgh Looking to Hit Brady After Whistle!

Each team of refs is in communication with teams before every game, taking in concerns. I guarantee this will now be on their radar. Pittsburgh is an idiot for this. You don't freaking SAY it.

You obviously have never played sports or been on a field of play.

When Brady is playing all eyes are on him. Refs will give an eye roll and ok if we're complaining about this.

Do you realize how many things teams, players complain about before, during and after a game?

Means 0.

Was it smart to make public? No but making it public doesn't mean refs will be quick w/ the flags.

Hahahahahah

So you're saying every QB is judged fairly in respect to flags etc?

Yes Andy Dalton and Brady are treated the same.

Santa isn't real either big guy.

Stupid to say that before the game. Belichick is going to bring this up to the League so that the refs keep an eye out for any late hits. So even if the Steelers don't try to hit Brady after he gets rid of the ball, the refs could have itchy trigger fingers for anything remotely close to a late hit on Brady.

So to include hitting him after the whistle? Get out of here with that garbage.

This is what happens when Clowney doesn't get a flag for dragging Brady to the ground.

As a patriots fan, I wouldn't expect you to happy about that comment.

Not sure it's the smartest to announce this to the refs who will make it a point of emphasis during the game.
they can emphasize but he knocks brady on the head like he did with moore then it wont matter if they get a 15 yard penalty if brady gets hurt.

this **** doesn't faze me

steelers are always talking **** and get it stuffed back down their throats

quietly, I guarantee more steelers will be rolling around on the turf than Pats

Nothing negative will happen either. Again do you really think any ref is up in arms over this?

Yes.

You can't hit the quarterback late.

Brady gets calls 90% of QB's don't get. He'll get all the right calls if that happens

Not accurate.

Since 2013, Cam Newton has more roughing the passer calls in his favor than Brady, Roeth and Rogers.

NFL Claims Cam Newton Has Less Missed Calls than Other QBs, Then Says Low Hit Should've Been Called

Key matchup: Steelers OLB Bud Dupree vs. Patriots QB Tom Brady

Defensive end Stephon Tuitt said it’s not necessarily how many times they sack Brady, but how many times they can hit him and knock him to the ground. The Texans hit Brady eight times, including getting a 15-yard penalty against Clowney for a late hit. Which, Tuitt said, is fine, too.

“They were taking Tom Brady down, they were hitting Tom Brady, even if it was after the play,” Tuitt said. “In a game like that, you want to get to him, you want to make him rattled, you want to make him upset. Sometimes you just got to sacrifice, even if it’s after the play, you got to get this guy like, hey, we’re out here for you, we’re coming after you.”

When I just read your headline, I was going to say, well, the Texans were allowed to hit him all day after the play, with only one penalty (the hits stopped after that for the most part), so I am sure the Steelers will do the same, unless the refs stop them. Looks like the Steelers watched the film too. It makes me mad. I hope we tee off on Big Ben in kind.

"I guess that comes from the coach."

Pining for a cheap hit like Davis' hit on Conley.

Making the comment public means 0.

If their hitting Brady after the whistle they'll get called. Has 0 to do with comments.

Wut? The refs will now be instructed to watch this more closely because he made the comments public. He would have had a better chance of getting away with a late hit or two had he not made the comment public.

Name one.

this is what cannon is up against.

That sort of declaration would be disciplined in any other sport. But this is the NFL so anything goes.
