Shrine Game

Trey Hendrickson DE Florida Atlantic 6037 255 9.875 32.250 76.500

Looks like he dropped 15 pounds from his listed weight this season. I wonder if he's been advised to do that in order to run better at the Combine? Either way, decent numbers. We could work with that.

Ejuan Price DE Pittsburgh 5107 246 10.250 32.000 77.000

Oof. We knew he was on the shorter end of the spectrum, but that's going to hurt him in the eyes of many evaluators. He's a solid football player, but can anyone remember a player other than Elvis Dumervil to produce at DE / OLB at that size?

Channing Stribling CB Michigan 6010 179 8.500 31.375 74.750

I like his tape, but for a tall guy, he is super light. I can't recall the last time we drafted a player in the 170s.

Xavier Woods SAF Louisiana Tech 5106 203 8.625 31.000 74.125

@manxman2601 mentioned him before, I think. A bit undersized, but one to keep an eye on going forward.

Jalen Robinette WR Air Force 6027 215 10.750 33.000 79.125

Big hands. Huge wingspan. Too bad he doesn't seem to be more dynamic as an athlete, but good numbers.

Billy Brown WR Shepherd 6033 254 10.500 33.500 80.250

Even bigger! Could be a TE. Drawing some comparison to Funchess. I wonder if we'd be interested? Rumor had it that we were targeting Kelvin Benjamin before he was drafted in front of us.

Avery Gennesy OT Texas A&M 6030 308 8.750 33.000 79.625

That's going to force him inside to guard. I thought he could play RT, but I'm not so sure that he has the size to hold up now.

Storm Norton OT Toledo 6075 308 10.125 35.250 85.000

Great frame. Super long arms. Wish he were more athletic -- tape isn't the best.

Josh Tupou DT Colorado 6025 362 9.625 33.500 77.625

Enormous player. I wonder if the weight is a typo? I figured he would be 6010 325. We've met with him.

Avery Moss DE Youngstown St 6031 262 10.000 34.000 82.000

Great numbers for Moss. Heavier than anticipated. Long arms. Could be a legit prospect.

Darius English DE South Carolina 6052 237 9.625 35.125 82.000

I was hoping he could weigh in around 250. Looks like he's actually lost weight, instead. He's strictly a linebacker at this point, unless he can add at least 20 pounds of good weight. Just too gangly to hold up in the trenches. Nice quickness though.

Ralph Green DT Indiana 6033 317 9.000 34.500 81.500

Good numbers. Flashed on tape. I removed him from my board for off-field concerns, but I should probably revisit the scenario.

Josh Augusta DT Missouri 6036 365 9.250 33.125 78.250

Needs to lose weight. Absolute slug on the field. I feel mean for saying it, but there's just zero dynamic movement skills.

Deatrich Wise Jr. DE Arkansas 6047 275 10.375 35.000 85.000

A favorite of mine. Great numbers. Good frame, big hands, long arms, an incredible wingspan. I'd like to see him fully healthy, because he lost a lot of explosion with the injuries. Now that he's back, I'm intrigued by his performance.

When I when I saw Robinettes hand size I just lol. Hes a legit big target all around.

He is who he is but thats not bad thing at all.

Big fan of Rivers and Moss. Its tough choosing between the two. I'll watch Rivers and see Moss stack n shed like a pro. Watch Moss n see Rivers bend n turn the loop while swatting a defenders hands. Very nice size indeed.

Also hearing Eric Saubert has had a great few days. Moves like a wr.

Elijah Mcguire is another name to remember. Been compared to Lewis. The kid has legit speed. North, South, East and West.

@BaconGrundleCandy Check out Robinette's route here. Better than I've seen from him in the past in terms of suddenness.

Interesting sleeper in Treston DeCoud. He's 6016 203 which is very solid for a corner. I'll have to try to find some more film on him.

Very Intresting read this was, as someone from the UK, is there any links to any footage that i could watch?

Hi Snooky! Thanks for following along. I don't believe that the entire practice is filmed, but there should be some breakdowns on YouTube. Here's one I found that has a little bit of discussion as well as practice clips after the breakdowns.

The game itself should be broadcast on NFL.com on January 21st at 3p.m. EST.

Thanks all! Appreciate it! Can't ever find anything like this over the U.K!

We've talked about him some. I really like him.

He's a bit choppy come in/out of his breaks. Feet can be lazy/choppy. Route running isnt terrible and he hes shown he can run several. There not the greatest and he isn't "selling" anything. Biggest ? is can he beat press man against good corners, even smaller guys, at the next level.

A lot to like. Hands catcher from what I know n see. Strong hands. Nice burst off the los. Good at 50/50 and pointing the ball. Can n will block. Best n most important thing is he knows how to use his size. He'll line up all over. Great character. Smart kid by all accounts. Basketball guy.

Don't know much about DeCoud. Very nice size.

Saubert and Hendrickson have been great by all accounts.

Looking into Gavin Andrews a bit more. He has experience at LT, RT, guard, and center, but he's planning on playing center. Huge frame for the position at 6047 339 9 4/8 34 3/8 82. Reported to have the best anchor and the heaviest punch of all the linemen there. That size is incredibly intriguing for a center. I like David Andrews, but I wouldn't mind bringing in his bigger, stronger counterpart (no relation as far as I'm aware).

I watched some more games of DeCoud. Fiesty. Better hips than anticipated for size. Not sure about long speed, but good change of direction and his click-and-close is much better than expected. Definitely going on my short list of prospects to follow.

Im intrigued by Calvin Munson, is he a serious prospect?

Saubert is certainly making his case for Pats:

In high school I also played defensive end, and am on every special team except kickoff.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?
I like to clean my house/apartment the night before every game.

    • Who is Better: Tom Brady or Peyton Manning?
    • Who will win the Super Bowl this year? Probably the Patriots

Mixed reports on him this week, but this seems encouraging.

Later round guy.

Smart. Instinctive. Not a lot of wasted movement but not a lot there athletically either. Gets where he needs to go bc of timing and again being smart and knowing the situation.

That team is very talented.

Kazee is one of my fav guys in the draft so far.
