Jason Whitlock - "Tom Brady isn't on Aaron Rodger's Level"

Dominque Wilkens was more flash and had more spectacular plays than Larry Bird.

Doesn't mean Dominque Wilkens was better than Larry Legend.

I can't stand the media. No wonder why Bill hates them so much.

Rodgers= most talented thrower of the football, whether in the pocket or on the run. His ad-libbing ability is reminiscent of backyard football.Beats defenses primarily after the snap.

Brady= the greatest QB of all time. Wins matchups before the snap. What Rodgers does with his legs to open up receivers, Brady does by looking off defenders. Most cerebral quarterback in the game.

Rodgers is the culmination of his physical ability. As his athleticism fades so will he.

Brady is the sum of his intangibles, the stuff you can't see with the naked eye. His football acumen , his drive, his heart. Those are the things that the scouts missed when evaluating Brady many moons ago and it is the same thing they continue to miss when comparing Brady against his contemporaries.

If we're solely talking physical ability sure, Rodgers is the better quarterback

If we're talking about presnap judgements, championships, consistency, playoff appearances, playoff victories, elevating the players around him the Brady is by far the greatest quarterback... EVER.

See those cards below? Both are modern day sports card MONSTERS.The day Aaron Rodgers cards become more valuable than Brady rookie cards is the day he becomes GOAT.

People vote with their $$$. Right now, they're paying steep money for what they believe is the GOAT.

i see patsfans have fond there new manning...all jokes aside he has been great in the playoffs so far. he should get some love we all know his not better then Brady

I agree with everything you said except I don't think Rodgers is the better pocket passer. What makes Rodgers great is after the initial protection breaks down, he is great at throwing on the run. And people also say he draws it up in the dirt and basically free styles.. thats not true. Rodgers and his Oline+Receivers practice these kinds of scramble drills.

There is 2 issues that will plague Rodgers. If he continues to play like he did in Dallas he will make mistakes, he is great at extending the play but he caught a big break with that holding/PI call at the end of the game. Cause that ball was an interception no matter what.

The other issue is seeing as that he depends so much on his athletic ability how long can he play like that? If at 38 he is still running and gunning that will be amazing.

I like the Herd. But just disagree

So Brady loses 2 games in 2016 while quarterback (and one of those 2 losses is as yet hypothetical) and the answer that comes to Cowherd is that its time to move on?

Brady loses 1 game in 2016 so far (versus Rodgers 6) and at 39 put up better numbers than Rodgers and the thought that comes to Whitlocks head is that Brady is not as good as Rodgers, never was and never will be?

:doublefacepalm:

Rodgers has been great in this playoffs thus far. You have to give him his due. Tommy has to bring his A game on sunday. I would be dissapointed if he has another C type of game.
Rodgers stats would be a little worse if he didn't get bailed out on that idiotic pass he had intercepted with that penalty.
Also, he may be sitting at home right now if the refs would have called the hold on that third down pass to Cook.

I bet Brady is still playing when Rodgers is out of football

I don't really understand why so many people are declaring Rodgers the GOAT this week. What are they going to say if he loses in Atlanta?

Rodgers almost blew an 18pt lead vs a rookie QB imagine that
I really think this hype is all about that one pass to Cook. He actually threw some terrible passes in that game but nobody cares

They already protecting him by saying win or lose he dragged the team to the playoffs when in reality he was a big part of why they were in that 4-6 hole to begin with. When's the last time Brady was in danger of missing the playoffs other than 02?

Edit: When's the time if ever that Brady lost 4 straight games!? Not even in 2011 with that atrocious defense or 2013 with KT and Dobson as WR2 and WR3

People were ripping the team really bad in 2014 when they were 2-2, but yeah its all about narrative, doesn't matter if its true or not.

Ive come to grasp that Brady will never will universally accepted so its whatever to me at this point. i realize people are way too attached to the moment.

This is really getting out of hand right now

He's right - Tom is way above his level.

In 2011 Rodgers took his all world 15-1 team to the 1st round and got bounced at home while TB in the same year took the worst D 13-3 Pats to another SB.

He's a super gifted player and brings his A game, I have a lot of respect for that but he's also had some chances and let them slip away. Going to 6 SB's is a freakish monumental task and possibly going to a 7th at the age of 39 is so absurd it's hard to comprehend. Media haters need to find away to minimize it as much as possible
