Ticketexchange and resellers

Personally I like the secondary market, like stubhub. If it wasn't for that, I wouldn't be able to go to a game
Oh, I'm against all anti-resale-for-above-face laws. If teams/artists/etc. don't like tickets being resold, let them monitor and invalidate the tickets. There shouldn't be one cent of taxpayer dollars used to prevent it.

If I have enough money to buy a ticket, I shouldn't have to be on a wait list to acquire that ticket. That's just ridiculous in my opinion. Anyone should have access to that ticket exchange

It is so disappointing that the ticket exchange is now a place for bots and resellers. I have been trying all week to buy 4 tickets to the divisional game and as soon as something shows up it is gone and on stubhub.

Wow. You are 100% right. I just tried buying 4 tickets in section 130, row 21, seats 1-4. Poof. Session timed out. I had these at the checkout screen! Next thing you know, they're at Stub Hub.

I put 2 on ticket exchange on Monday. I had an email 2 minutes later that they had sold. Obviously snagged by a bot.

Yeah, the ticket exchange...I don't even bother with that anymore. I'd say it was semi-reliable up until 2013 or so. The last time I had success off ticket exchange was the last Texans playoff game.

If I want to go, I just have to pay the ridiculous upcharge on StubHub.

If I weren't on the wait list to actually get season tickets (around 2035 is my guess), then I'd probably drop it. The "benefit" of the ticket exchange is worth literally nothing at this point.

The only reason we paid to be on the wait list was so that we could get access to tickets.

Like you say, it was a great way to go for years. I remember getting fantastic seats for many games and I think they were close to or at cost.

Now it appears that Kraft wants to squeeze every last dollar out of the customers. After all, he has to feed his family. ;)

Damn, I just saw 4 tickets pop up about 20 minutes ago.

It's annoying that every time I see two tickets pop up I get on it instantly and it says I have two minutes to complete this page and I complete it within seconds and it says my time expired. Makes no sense

Sounds really freaking annoying!

Careful if you do decide to go Stubhub. Here is a crazy story about someone getting screwed by Stubhub (someone sold them last year's playoff tickets, and stubhub told them the tickets were perfectly fine, it was just a misprint and the tickets were ok, to go ahead and fly to the game).

Luckily the Reddit effect kicked in so Stubhub eventually did the right thing, not out of principle, but to avoid bad publicity:
StubHub sent me last years playoff tickets. • /r/nfl

Well if I couldn't even get tickets for the Texans game on the exchange then I don't really have much hope for this Sunday's game.

My friend was able to get some on the exchange. Spent about 25 hours all week and finally got some late in the week. Hopefully he comes through again this week...... 4 face value tickets are hard to come by.

Also - it is hard to even get in now, just get the message that "An unusually large number of visitors are accessing our site... " message
