We've heard several lockerroom talks where BB addresses the short week after a MNF game or something. I don't think Tomlin was crying I think he was saying 'those people that we hate have an advantage in prepping for us so we better get our asses in gear' which is perfectly fine for a coach to say.

I really have no problems with what Tomlin said and only with what Brown did.

I mentioned the same thing in another thread. Beli does it all the time after MNF games or when they have to play a Thursday game. He doesn't call the other team assholes but acknowledging the shorter preparation time is not new. The only reason this could possibly be a big deal is thatBelichick would never bring it up after a loss. If the Steelers lose Tomlin is exactly the type of person to mention it and make it seem like an unfair advantage.

Wasn't there a story from the early 2000s where Belichick is ragging on another team's player during film review? Something about how great they thought they were or something? I'm painfully aware that I might be thinking of the Miracle on Ice, but I really thought there was a similar example from BB.

From what I've seen of the man I don't think he'd hesitate to call someone a name in front of his team. The difference is that the Patriots generally put a high enough premium on maturity to avoid dipshits like Brown.

Fk Tomlin, his opinion, good or bad, means nothing to me.

........technically his team had more time to prepare for their next opponent since they knew who it would be on Saturday whereas the Patriots didn't know their next opponent until Sunday night. If the Patriots did do any prep it would have had to have been for both the Steeler's and Chefs until they found out the result of the game on Sunday. Just goes to prove what a moron Tomlin truly is.

They better bring it after that talk. I realize every team trash talks within the locker room, but if you are dumb enough to leak it, you have to follow it up. Would be hilarious if they lose 40-10, or something like that.

This is a classic example of really bad Emotional Intelligence.

OK, Brown did not do it but he leaked it which is worse.

Not just with, but particularly against the Pats, why do some players still think trash talking gives them an edge? The frequency of players eating their pre-game words is enough to scientifically prove it's a bad idea. For some years, it's been going on in social media, even before this recent election of people saying stuff universally regarded even by many of their buddies as stupid.

Tomlin probably enjoys it.

Fon't care that he said it but had it been BB it would be front page news across the country. I've heard two national shows refer to the video and neither mentioned Tomlin referring to the Pats as assholes.

Could care less what that moron said. I' am however looking forward to hearing him pout like a sore loser at his press conference after the game.

I swear to god he gets the names wrong like this on purpose. It's too funny and been going on for too long in too many variations to be an accident. I laugh so hard every time.
