jeezus krist....Simms is just way way way beyond drunk on haterade....this is so obvious

The Pats defense SET OSTWEILER UP. He went to the well just like you all thought and got PICKED. But yeah, the Pats suck and Ostweiler was tearing them apart. Whatever.

Yep. They were giving Osweiler some throws intermediate and then used the good old bait'n switch on him and his brain melted down upon not identifying the disguises correctly.

The defense really had a great overall gameplan and got it done.

I understand now why everyone was so down when I got back from the game...this TV coverage is BIZARRE. You'd think the Pats were DOWN 4 scores and Clowney was single handedly wrecking the entire offense.

halftime break...Simms talks only how well the Texans are playing...the sideline skirt only talks to O'B. It's as if the Pats don't even exist to these corporate scumbag catspaws. This definitely colors nationwide perception and makes azzoles like that punk in Seattle seem like he's onto something. Basically it's all blind hatred by scumbag human beings.Simms, Cryingsworth...they really suck. ****ing sellout P'sOS

Eric Rowe on his penalty:

“You just can’t get stupid penalties,” Rowe said after the game, relaying the words Patriots coach Bill Belichick screamed at him on the sideline. “And I totally agree with that. That was obviously a dumb penalty. It hurt. I think they got three points out of the drive, and I felt like (expletive).” Rowe said he was surprised he was the only player penalized for the scuffle, which occurred after Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler tackled Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins. “It was a huge pile, and I guess I was just the one that got caught,” Rowe said. “But it’s whatever.” The Patriots defensive back added that he was trying to play the role of peacekeeper, not escalate the scrap. “(The Texans player) speared Malcolm in the back, so I was just trying to get him off,” Rowe explained. “I wasn’t trying to pull him off and start pushing and shoving and fighting. I was just trying to get him off Malcolm, because he was doing the extra stuff down there. Just trying to take care of the teammates.”
Patriots’ Eric Rowe ‘Felt Like (Expletive)’ After Costly Penalty Vs. Texans

HA!!! Caught redhanded trying to fix that Osweiler pass/recovery. "uh..flag!! Too many men on the field...Pats penalized 5 yards..oh wait...no penalty for too many men on field...oopsies...sawree...really didn't mean it..heh heh..."..Scumbagdell shows his hand once again

This ugly win is just going to make us that much better this Sunday. Probably the best thing that could have happened to us to be honest.

TB isn't happy and we all know that means the next weekend.

Let's Go Chiefs!

He has to be more mature about that and not give refs any reason to throw a flag. I was about to say that Butler shouldn't have continue on going for the ball after Hopkins was clearly down by contact but then again the more I think about it the more it looks like another failure by the Morelli crew.

You gotta play until the whistle and they could have easily prevented that entire heap by being more decisive.

An UGLY win is still a WIN and just because we didn't shut them out is no reason to dispair. That being said, my wife and I agreed that even though we were winning, it just didn't feel like it for most of the game. Turnovers and costly penalties.... not a Pats kind of game... but still won handily.

I hope for 2 more ugly wins this season. I'll adjust my attitude, and embrace the ugly.... just win.

There isn't a defense left that can stop our offense. And our defense stops everyone they face.

The Steelers have an offense that could keep up. They have three elite players and do a good job keeping Big Ben upright (17 sacks in 14 games.) Last nine games, the Steelers have put up 24 or more points including games against 3 playff teams and the Ravens. They put points on the board. It depends a lot on how Ben emerges from the Chiefs game, if they win.

My bro and I were watching the game together. He turns to me and says, "Simms is just a bit passive-aggressive, right?" :D

I'm so done with those two.

It's evident Simms has lost his passion. He's so cynical now.

Ok guys. Even though it was far from pretty, we took care of business & (hopefully) avoided any major injuries. Now, let's all sit back, recline & observe PIT & KC commence the blood bath this evening knowing they'll have at least one less day of recovery time & have to travel to the Razor next week for a date with a pissed off GOAT.

Moving on, hung 34 on the Number 1 D, played like crap....this team is special, D is great...so happy to be moving on, hope to see the O next week...we'll need em

The offense didn't hang 34 on the #1 defense. One TD came on special teams and the final TD was handed to the offense by the defense/Osweiler being desperate. The defense played great against a poor offense.

The offense scored 20 points, but then only had two TD drives. The offense came very close to coughing up that game - 2 INTs and 2 fumbles (one lost.) Ball security is going to be pounded into these guys this week.

The defense exploited Osweiler's lack of confidence and experience. Survive and move on.

That wasn't a blowout. If Osweiler takes care of the ball, we're freaking out. That last pick was a bad throw/decision. The score feels good, but the Texans blew a great opportunity, especially withe the Patriots' turnovers. I trust they'll be sharper next week.

You can't play the f**king "if" game. Texans scored 13 of their 16 points because of Pats turnovers.

If you're gonna play the "if" then "if" Rowe doesn't get a penalty and the Pats play turnover free Texans get shutout.

Maybe I missed something but I thought the OL plugged their holes in the 2nd half. The Texans may have tired but I don't recall Brady being touched after halftime. Seems they made the right adjustments while in the locker room
