A flower?

Likewise Flowers quickness caught my eye early in his first training camp.
Same here. As a result of this quickness, I said that Flowers looked to be the best pass rusher on this team as camp ended. Not everyone agreed with me but, he sure looks like it now more than ever.

He's so good Belichick will randomly trade him for a 3rd round pick next season

so Flowers has blossomed..
The real question is if he's an annual or perennial.
If he can't be blocked straight up, they'll have to cut him...
This thread is germinating some interesting commentary, but I still think I'll make like a tree and leave.
I agree that the Patriots were fortunate to pick Flowers in the draft. However, I'm growing impatiens with all the flower punning in this thread.

Lets hope his energy pollinates the entire defense.

At the beginning of the season when we traded Jones I quickly picked up Flowers and gave him a 5yr contract, everyone laughed saying WTF is that.. 5 years on who. I was like STFU he is going to be the thorn in your side for the next 5 years.

Flowers is a very promising talent. With Valentine and Brown both progressing we may be witnessing the beginnings of an elite group here
