MVP Race is a toss up between Brady, Ryan, Rodgers and Elliott

The whole thing loses its credibility when rodgers is in consoderation. Ryan being in it is acceptable. I would have no beef with him winning it

Edit, his final stats are impressive, might throw 40TDs. but Voters should keep in mimd he wasnt the best player throughout the whole season.

It's by Scott Kascmar. Throw it in the trash. Nothing he writes can be trusted (especially when Brady is involved). He's the king of dishonest cherry-picking. It's a disgrace that FO ever hired him and a bigger disgrace that they still employ him. (It's probably because of Schatz's pathetically desperate fear of being called a homer.)

I'd like to first state that I think Ryan should be the MVP.

My problem with Scott Kacsmar (Still-Wrong) is if you reversed Ryan's and Brady's seasons.....he would have tweaked his article to favor Ryan. He's a fraud.

Brady has continued to kick Kacsmar's year after year

Screw the MVP. Who cares? Brady wont get, just like BB wont get coach of the year. They've been good too long. And that's not exciting enough for the MFL. It will be Elliot or Matt IMO. If it's Rodgers, I'll puke.

Rodgers' team might not even make the playoffs.

Brady is only human like the rest of us. Of course he wants the MVP.

Obviously he wants a ring MORE. But to think he doesn't care about the MVP is silly IMO. It's a great honor in his field of profession.

That said, I think Goodell robbed him of it this season, and he probably has already accepted it.

Ryan and Rodgers are both deserving, I wouldn't have an issue with either getting it.

Elliot is running behind an offensive line that any top RB would produce similar stats behind.

I'd love for Tommy to get it, but realistically, I think Ryan is likely the recipient this season.

Ryan's stats will get padded when he absolutely lights up the NO defense this weekend, and that'll about clinch it for him.

And nobody will care that Brady led his team to as many victories in *four* fewer starts.

I care.

TFB winning the MVP would be him getting the respect he deserves, unfortunately tons of haters are always crapping on him, calling him a system QB, etc, this would be one more piece of data to silence them.

BB should definitely get consideration for Coach of the year. Played with 3 different QB's and might end the season 14-2.

Brady will not get MVP; the 4 games squashed that.

Having said that, he was away from his team for FOUR weeks, came back, and put up league leading numbers. Let me see another QB that can do that. Put him on ANY team, and that team wins games.

He's throwing the deep ball, moving in the pocket better than ever with an OK OL, and still, the numbers are there. He should be MVP. The 4 games will blacklist him though.

And when I say the "FOUR games", he was innocent

My vote for MVP in order of who I think is most deserving:

1. Ryan
2. Brady
3. Rodgers
4. Elliot

Some of you need to give up the Rodgers hate on this board. The guy has almost single handedly brought the Packers back to a potential major SB contender. And no, he didn't stink in the 1st six games, he just wasn't elite.

Brady would have had to have 30+ TD's by now to get the MVP after missing 4 games

I think voters aren't paying a lot of attention to the "smart" analysis of players and stats (like DVOA) at this point in time when it comes to picking the MVP.

This phenomenon has only caught on very recently with baseball voters and football stats are a long way off from being studied and scrutinized like baseball is.

So I question how much all of that will help Ryan. What will help him and not Brady though is something very simple that all voters will understand...that the Patriots were 3-1 without Brady.

If Brady goes off tomorrow the vote will be very close. Maybe we will see co mvps again this year.

A 10-6/9-7 QB with a passer rating 15 points below his closest competitor is deserving? If Ryan is deserving, Rodgers is not. That simple.

If people want to vote for Ryan who is having a stellar year, I don't have a problem with that.

That said, my vote would go for Brady.

At risk of picking stats to confirm our biases, Brady hasn't thrown an game-losing interception this year (Bradys interception in his one loss came in the 2nd quarter and Seattle scored no points off it) -Ryan I believe has thrown 3.

Brady now has a very good case for MVP

11 wins will be more or as many as Ryan/Rodgers.

28-2 TD/Int is incredible. He did half the year without Gronk while Ryan/Rodgers had Jones/Nelson the whole year or vast majority of it.

singlehandedly? Come on.

Matty Ice is destroying the Saints. He's going to be MVP. Can't argue with it with the season he's had, just a shame Brady will miss out on another MVP after such an incredible year. But a SB MVP would more than make up for it ;)
