People really need to get a grip. How well did that bend but don't break thing work out in 2007 and 2010?

Eventually this team is going to have to make a stand against a very good offense with a playoff game on the line. If you feel comfortable in that situation, with the talent we have here, you are delusional.
Shouldn't you be complaining about the Michael Floyd signing right now?

nah defense is playing good. Top 5 defense. Adding in scheme and talent together. And the offense if they needed to could have scored more points today. They played conservative.

D is looking better and better. Really peaking at the right time. I could not be happier.
You hit the nail on the head! The D is indeed peaking at the right time! I'm just ecstatic Bill and Brady exorcised some of those Denver demons along the way!

So holding the Broncos to 2/12 in third downs today was what? Our imagination?

Pfui.

Go away, troll.

The team is 14 games into the season.

If you are still a doubter then there is no hope for you.

This is a very good D. It's too bad you can't see that.

Relax Paul Perillo.

1. Patriots (16.6 PPG)
2. Seahawks (16.8 PPG)
That's great. I'm sure they give as much **** as I do. Just step up when it matters most and bring that Lombardi back where it belongs boys.

Early in the season I was worried how DE would hold up, what Long has left and wehther FLowers would be able to take the next step. Got to say I am encouraged by the DL and LB's after the Jones/Collins trades. If this keeps up in the playoffs major kudos to BB for having the plan in place to withstand those deals. Knew the secondary would pick up where they left off last year, and the adition of Rowe was big as well. But now the front 7 seemingly solidified as well, this could be a dominant defense the next few years.

It's called rational thought. This team hasn't played a decent offense all year. The closest they have come is Seattle- who they gave up over 30 points to. They are thin at corner and incredibly thin at DE talent wise.
If they go out and get shredded next week by an awful Jets team people will be talking about how they are the worst defense in the history of football. And it will be equally stupid. People are overreacting to two good games against a bad offense and an even worse offense.

I'm trying to take the reasonable position, the long view and all the homers who can't see the forest through the trees are having name calling, poop slinging, temper tantrums. It reminds me of what happens when you present facts to an SJW or a feminist. They just come unglued.

I can't remember a turnaround like this from a defense in a long time, this D is playing like a genuine top 5/10 defense now, i thought earlier in the season they weren't as good as their numbers.

Now they're playing like their numbers.
They have played excellent all year

Actually, you're right. They probably have to conquer Oakland and Dallas to collect their rings. Those are two of the better offenses in the NFL. Of course, the Raiders and Cowboys need to stop the Pats offense. Those teams aren't exactly Denver and Baltimore on defense. Not even close.
