The sad part is that I like Gruden, but he needs to get out of the broadcast business.

I met Gruden at SB46. Super nice guy taking photos and shaking hands will all the fans.
I remember him being so thrilled that when he met BB, BB got him and his wife back stage passes for Bon Jovi as his wife is a big fan.

Here's an idea: If you REALLY want to make a statement, don't go to the god damn game. Otherwise nobody is going to give a **** because you're still funneling money into their pockets by way of ticket purchases and concessions.

Click on "Deflategate" and set the page for "Past 24 hours" and you will see a far more comprehensive list.

Why?

Because it isn't about the STEELERS.

Uh... yeah it is. The Steelers are the team accused of deflating footballs. Doing a similar exercise in the aftermath of the 2014 AFCCG for the Patriots would have yielded far more results and you wouldn't have to click on the "news" section to find it, either. But, like I said, chant what you want. In the end, you're still paying for the tickets. You'll really show them, though.

And by the way, why is nobody asking about the Giants measuring footballs on the sidelines during a game when the league expressly has forbidden that.

The league also is caught in a BOLD FACED LIE yesterday in their formal statement ".....The officiating game ball procedures were followed and there were no chain of command issues,”

The Giants measuring game balls on the sidelines during the game is a complete breach of "chain of command".

Think about it: Your prescription of one person just staying home is FAR LESS effective than staying and fighting.

I support the Patriots and the NFL (but not the fraudsters who currently inhabit the headquarters).

I want regime change. Do what you want, but I'm staying and fighting.

Moving to be being a CFL fan isn't the answer. The NFL belongs to US d%#*!@t, not those white collar criminals.

No, it's not. You're refusing to give them your money. That's why I can't take this chant idea seriously. Yeah... sure. Chant away. Never mind the fact that you're all buying $100 tickets and most of you will be lapping up $10 beers and stuffing your face with $7 hotdogs and nachos. No, you're REALLY going to hit the NFL where it hurts. A chant. Yeah, that's the ticket. And, no, the NFL doesn't belong to you. You surrender that right when you give your own hard earned money to those "white collar criminals" because that's all they understand. So chant away. Do you. But it's ultimately pointless. Nobody cares and all you're doing is paying the people that you're chanting against. They win, you lose, and it's not even close. First round knockout.

The tickets are already bought by other people. I haven't given the NFL one red dime - - all my red dimes have gone to the Chinese for jersey knockoffs.

I'm simply asking the folks who are already there to be useful.

So there! :p

Dolphins and Jaguars home games are late arriving/early leaving/disinterested crowds. Must be the humidity. :D

Pretty sad commentary on the scumbags running the league that you'd rather give your money to a country known for human rights violations than the NFL.

Huh?

I've got two tickets for sale to this game if anyone wants to go do this...

Section 136, row 9. Selling for face value - $186 each. PM if interested!

Lesser of two evils.

In general, it's a PR rule of thumb that you don't remind people of a story that has negative associations about you in the minds of most of your audience. Especially, in this case, when you are relying on a trio of loose cannons to interpret what you are saying over the air.

However, if you are going to go through with some sort of statement at tonight's game, it should be more obvious and specific than "PSI," which most people, outside New England, confuse with "PTSD" or think is a venereal disease.

I'd bring signs that refer specifically to the Steelers and Giants. How about, "Steelers deflate Ben's Balls?" Or, "Giants say Steelers Deflate Ben's Balls." Or, "Hey Roger! Pittsburgh Deflaters?"

To my mind, the best way to fight this out is to send emails to the smarter members of the media (Sally Jenkins, Gary Myers and a handful of others) to prod them to write articles that remind people about the absurdity of the whole mess. It's not as satisfying in the short term, but, gradually over time, it will have an impact on how "the masses" think about it.

That's what makes it so fascinating

Am I missing something. The question that intrigues me is why?. Why did the Giants publicly shine the light on this issue now when anyone remotely familiar with Defamegate is aware of IGL, so the Giants should not have been surprised by the PSI readings that the measured, (which is of course against NFL Rules).
Highlighting the two Steeler Footballs PSI would appear to me to only favour the Patriot organization and that confuses me. If I have missed something, let me know.

McAdoo is whack-a-doo!

But seriously, I thought this issue was pretty much laid to rest with the rules put in place in the wake of Defamegate. Who knows? We'll probably never know.

If you want to just give me your tickets for free, I'll take them. I'm the guy who orders water at the bar.
