If Brady wins a 5th ring before he retires, how long...

I think with the CTE epidemic which will really accelerate in the next decade or so that if Brady wins a fifth Super Bowl or more then I think it is unlikely a player will ever break his record for one team.

One possibility would be if there was an unlimited cap and owners could spend what they wanted to enable them to win. This is unlikely to ever happen but if it went the way of NBA in the past or MLB then I could see someone like Jerry Jones or a potential future owner buying up much of the premier talent and one side dominating for a decade. This would also mean other teams would get worse and the competition would not be as interesting between sides which would likely lead to even more fans turning the game off on tv.

Who is Peter Criss supposed to be? Can't make it out.
Danny Amendola. Someone did a much better version of this back in 20017 with Brady , Moss, Bruschi & ? (not sure of the 4th member and can't find it anywhere). Mine's just a cheap knock off... but I really liked the original.

Ah...Well done regardless!

I know he wont retire but if he wins his 5th ring this season I'd be okay with him walking away. Accept the ring from Roger and tell him to go **** himself, THEN FILE HIS DEFAMATION SUIT AGAINST ROGER AND HIS CRONIES, Fund all his charities for the next hundred years, and THEN go live happily ever after.
I finished your thought in bold. I'm sure you just forgot to put in the last part. ;)

Seriously, I have NO doubt that Brady will play at least until this current contract runs out, which IIRC is after the 2019 season. If anything what he's done so far in this season has cemented his belief that he can play this game well into his 40's I think he'll be "just" 42 at the end of the '19 season. Even if he slips some, I bet that at the end of that season, Brady will STILL be a top 10 QB in this league.

Seriously though, sorry to hear. I've never been on Gang Green. Was on JetsInsider before they sold out. Then joined JetNation.

My guess is you'd have better luck there. It's not that bad. We even have a Pats fan who was banned from here. If you do ever join, lemme know, I'll get your back 'til you're established.

Obviously you have to have some thick skin though. I've been abused a bit here. Just gotta laugh it off.

Also have to pick and choose your battles. For example, you'll notice I don't weigh in on the cheating stuff (much). Hell, I joined right when the Deflategate sh!t was hitting the fan. Instead of posting, I waited months until things died down because I figured I'd instantly look like a troll.

Basically if you can deal with the occasional BS, being on a division rival's board can be entertaining. Especially when you're talking NY/Boston.
Jets are way better than Giants.

Giants lost me after Y.A. left.

Still happy and celebrating SBIII win, for all of us in AFL and are against scum NFL.

When Brady retires w 6+ rings, the best narrative nfl can present is a new "hero" that will chase his record and break it. That will draw viewers and nfl will for sure ensure that it takes place however possible

Its not going to happen unless the cap is abolished. Since '99 the patriots are the only team to repeat as champs. Only one other team has come close, seattle in 2014.

I may need fact checked, but other than these 2 franchises no other sb winning team even won a single playoff game the following year in this 17 year time frame. Says alot about how hard it is to coontinue winning in this league. If someone does it, they will have to be similar to both bb at hc and tb at qb in terms of greatness, which is a once in a lifetime combination. So highly unlikely unless the system changes completely.

Agreed. It is so hard just to win one superbowl. To continue being competitive let alone winning for 15 plus years is damn near impossible these days which is what makes our patriots so special. We won't ever see it done quite like this ever again.

There may be some greatfranchises and even maybe a shortlived "dynasty", but we wont ever see anything like this again.

Thats like ranking your favorite Patriots SB team :p

5. White Album
4. Abbey Road
3. Revolver
2. Rubber Soul
1. SPLHCB
I'm a big Revolver and RS fan, too. I think it provides a nice combo of both the early and later stuff. You could make a strong case for either of those two, and Rolling Stone magazine would agree with you.

I just can't get with placing Sgt. Pepper's at the top of the list.

Hard to say.... You need a good team.. argument could be made that Brady should have more than 4 or 5.. He has been so good for 17 years and likely more. Ben could have more. With a great team it's doable.

EDIT: Brady had 3 before he was 27. And he only got better. With those three in place he under achieved considering his greatness.

The loss of a first round pick and a major knee injury to Brady affected the team on the field for a few years. After losing a top pick in 2007 the 2008 season was a killer. That was the last year of a very strong defense.

Then came the Baltimore, Jet, Giant years, when I give equal discredit to the defense and coaching as I do Brady.

Then Brady led the greatest comeback in SB history and The Butler Did it.

I don't see underachieving there.

Love the psychedelic stuff. The album has a little bit of everything. Musical taste.

A Day In The Life is one of my favs

@JetFan79 - I am still very unsure of Jets fans online (even ones allowed here) after my treatment on Gang Green. I joined and did nothing but try to be friends with them, and was pretty much attacked and thrown out of the forum.. "Bullying may not be tolerated" didn't actually exist. :(

When I first joined here I was on a Jets board and noticed patfanken had posted a very good post there (no surprse eh?) and he got the same treatment. I tried to let the Jets fans know that he was one of the better posters around and I got the same.

I can't really pick a favorite, mostly because all of their music is so diverse. With all of the songs they made they don't have any that sound alike, unlike some groups. I also think the Beatles got better as they went along.

And just for reference I'm 37.
Don't shoot the messenger here, I'm just stating public opinion. My opinion doesn't matter.
At worst he is 1b. The only QB that most anyone thinks might be better is Montana and each game Brady plays, mire and more of them fall by the wayside

Yep. They had no issue with trying new sounds etc.

I mean....what band in their right mind (drugs helped) would use a freaking sitar?

Beating Seattle in that sb might have been an even greater win than the first sb win. There was so much riding on that game for the Pats. They defended their back to back titles and burned all of the crybabies at the same time. Thanks again Malcolm.

It would take a new commissioner, whose main goal is NOT 'parity at all costs.'
