Richly deserved. Miguel has not only devoted tremendous time and effort as a fan, but has helped countless other fans indulge our Patriots obsession to the utmost.

Miguel would probably be the best choice ever. From my monitoring of this award it tends to go to someone extremely active in the patriots charity. I know Miguel does a lot for bread of life hopefully that counts for him because he deserves it.

Ian deserves it too.

I've tried to nominate my father but I stopped trying as it seems futile (bad son I know. I can't imagine where I'ld be if he thought being a patriots fan was futile back in the early 90s)

I'm going to put together another video to promote people to vote for him, so if anyone here has any good pictures of him with your crew at the stadium, please PM me and send them along as I'll probably need about 12-14 in order to put it together and I'd like to do it in the next couple of days to get it out there as soon as we can.

If he wins, we outta trade him while his value is at its his peak. @Miguel what's the cap ramifications if Ian deals you this offseason?

Almost equally important... what's gonna be his nickname? I say...

I'll get dealt instead - Miguel's a better long-term asset than me and definitely more useful...and I'm O.K. with that. Just don't send me to run a Jets site or a Raiders site...that would be pretty awful

I bet Miguel is the real one pulling the strings, you're the Belichick to his Ernie Adams.

I feel sorry for the other finalists. There are certainly a LOT of great Pats fans out there who are worthy of recognition. However we would be hard pressed to find one who has not only has shown over the years how much he's loved his team; but has so dramatically added to thousands of his fellow fans' enjoyment AND understanding of the game they follow.

We are, by far, the most sophisticated fan base in the league when it comes to understanding how the cap works and how it effect the team. (Felger might want to take note of this some time. ;)) Not only has @Miguel added to OUR understanding of the game, his page has been the inspiration for many of the cap pages for teams around the league.

So between his charity work and home life, Miguel has the found time to make all our fan experiences much richer through his efforts. He richly deserves this honor.

(....and Ian, you aren't so bad yourself ;) )

I certainly agree that Miguel deserves it, but despite the name/title, isn't it really a community service award? I seem to recall that for recent winners, there's barely any mention of their loyalty to the Pats and it seems to not even be a factor.

Hopefully they move back toward a combination of the two elements and Miguel will be an obvious choice.

Good luck!

I was actually mistaken, while no one may deserve it more you definitely are just as worthy.
