Peyton Manning "cleared" by NFL in HGH Scandal...

I think this is great.

I think it's wonderful that the league didn't leak investigation details to the press.

That they talked to Manning before publicly accusing him of anything.

That the league didn't concoct a story, and then change the story multiple times.

That the league accepted a certain amount of co-operation as "co-operation."

That the league didn't accuse Manning of misconduct simply for standing up for himself.

That the league didn't put together a show trial that would make Kim Jong-Il proud.

This represents progress.

Better late than never.

I'd agree with the above except for the minor point that, well, Manning is guilty as sin.

what happened to the other HGH thread with 40 pages?
Embarrassed to look at it now?

If the NFL had hired Wells and Exponent for this investigation, we might be seeing different tweets today.

Nah, it would be the same mess. Exponent would've shown them evidence of no HGH, using their lab tech's piss -- eer blood-- and Wells would've concluded, with Pash's assistance, "Manning NEVER, EVER used HGH."

SMDH if Kraft had stood up to Rogurt Gotohell this wouldn't have gone down this way SMDH

A finding of no wrongdoing by Brady would have made the NFL look weak and in the Patriots pocket. A finding of no wrongdoing by Peyton means the NFL's banned substance program worked as it should. Just an organization acting in its best interests. The funny thing is that posters here seem to think that only the NFL conducts itself this way.

There's no credible evidence because Peyton's goons destroyed all the evidence way back before the NFL even looked into this.

When Brady just replaced his phone, it was a sin against God. I guess the lesson to learn here is that if you get rid of potential evidence yourself, it's worth a multi million dollar scandal and court time, and a suspension, but if you have your lackeys do it for you, it's all good.

i know i shouldnt be surprised by any of this

NFL would never shat on their golden boy right after a SB win.......wait.......

Gee who would have thought. I'm sure the NFL conducted its investigation with the utmost fairness and thoroughness. Sure, Manning using HGH would be the worst story to hit the wire, probably ever, but I know that the NFL was concerned with truth and forthrightness first.

I really feel bad for you if you expected otherwise. The timing of the news dump is curious too. Almost like they didn't want it to be a big story.

Oh thank goodness! I almost expected probation at least. We dodged one.

I just got the leaked documentation of the entire investigation by the NFL on Manning. I am going to post it all here:

NFL Investigator: Peyton, did you ever use HGH?

Peyton Manning: Aw shucks, nope!

NFL Investigator: That is all I need to know. It is clear you never used HGH. Investigation over.
You, sir, can come on down. You have won the Internet. Seriously, what a damn joke. It's almost like the NFL doesn't even want to try to make anyone believe they're playing things fairly anymore. They're like, "Yeah, we know you see it. But you can't do **** about it."
