Meta: Does anyone have any feelings about Robert Kraft they want to share?

I acknowledge Al Davis is deserving of his HoF induction, merging the AFL into the NFL, etc. AFAIK, he is the only person in the NFL that's been owner, HC, GM, scout, commissioner. While that testifies he was a football virtuoso, in the last decade or so of his life, the Raiders were far from the .800 team at their peak - even he could not continue to be a jack of all trades.

So if The Genius had problems running it all, it gets comical for the current crop of owners that attempt to emulate him. Robert Kraft got the most important part right - find others to run the football operations. Again, I'm not defending how he's dealing with DeflateGate.

I didn't mean to come on too strong, if I did. I just support Davis and the other men like him who built the AFL. It wasn't easy to stand up against the established NFL back in those days, especially for a guy like Billy Sullivan who didn't have nearly the wealth as some of the others.

I took my name off the season ticket waitlist, haven't purchased any tickets to Gillette Stadium, no Patriots merchandise, got rid of NFL Network and missed more games last year (around 6-7) than I had the previous 20, combined. I support Brady and BB. When Brady is done, I will be finished with the NFL. After last offseason and everything since, it's just not important to me anymore.
But yet you still come here to ***** and whine.

Curious.

I don't know if your aware of this but it's a team sport, and if you made these comments to Bill and Tom that's exactly what their response would be.

I don't ***** and whine on here at all. I come to this board a lot less than I used to and post even less. I happen to enjoy the members on this site and find humor in some conversations. That's why I come to this site now. Ian runs a good ship here.

You may not like someone finally having enough of Bob Kraft and the other 31 owners but that's simply the boat I'm in. It doesn't mean I can't visit PatsFans and read some stuff to keep up with the bare minimum of what's going on with NE.

everyone is entitled to say one thing and do another....have at it

doesn't mean that someone else should not say something.....an observation just as any other

Totally true and I'm all for differing opinions. But to say that I "***** and whine" on here when I've done neither, is just incorrect and obnoxious. Maybe he should take a look at my post history and see that I've made a grand total of 7 posts since the end of NE's season, none of which fall in to either category he describes.

the negativity towards Kraft is '*****ing and whining' ... what else would you call it? intelligent dialogue?

the best thing you can say about it is that it is completely pointless

I could understand this reaction if the Pats had been losing awhile and poorly run.

Think of it as being IGNORED twice.
