No, it's simpler than that. There is only one thing that Kraft truly loves. It's not the Jets, but it's the same color. Anything that comes between him and what he truly loves, he will not support. Actions speak louder than words, Bob, and this is what your actions have shown through the years.

I've been saying that from the beginning of this mess. Kraft bought the team for money, ultimately. He is an owner. The owners are out for themselves. I mean how much money is enough?? They constantly try to make more and give less. He sucks, just like the rest of the owners, commish, executives, lawyers. .... I really don't know how much longer I can keep supporting these ****s. The one thing in sports and TV that I enjoy is ruined.

I think he loves money but I honestly don't think that it's the money, I think it's about prestige. I think he bought into the hype that he was THE MAN WHO SAVED FOOTBALL and saw himself as the power broker of NFL owners. The owners meeting last spring was an ice bucket shower for him, and having all the other billionaires turn their backs on him and treat him as irrelevant was far more painful than the anger of Patriot fans could ever be. He was literally begging the forgiveness of the 31 in his capitulation address at the owners meetings and promised to never go astray again, this is just another example of him making good on his promise to be a good boy.


Kraft has done a lot for the Patriots franchise and its fans but he has failed them miserably on deflategate.

The fact that he can claim that after he declined to appeal just shows how disingenuous the guy is.

A week ago, I said Kraft would best lay low right now. Little did I think he would shoot himself in the foot like this.

The lawsuit was silly in the first place but Kraft should have just kept his mouth shut. In the end just another reason for me to dislike Kraft. Have for a while.

Even though the lawsuit has no chance of success at least let them try. It won't hurt anyone. Why interfere with fans that are fighting for you ? This guy is so bad for our fanbase on so many levels.

Except that I believe that he truly believes that he has been "acting in the best interest of the Patriots and Patriot fans, " with the problem being that he conflates those interests with his interests. In Krafts mind he thinks that his stature among other owners is the true reflection of what is best for the team and fans. And as fans we have been disabused of that notion ever since cameragate.
