So Mcdaniels isn't the future HC, its Steve Belichick!

@fgssand I want to be just like you.

PS: though he is already on staff signbabybelichick.

Oh, that's going to cost the Pats a 1st round pick or two.

It'll be interesting to see what his role will be when his dad retires. Will he stay with the Patriots or go elsewhere, and if he will be head coach material.

The reference is of course to

I was about to post "Where is the obligatory post with the link to 'Cat's In The Cradle'", but it looks like I didn't need to at all.

Which makes this whole post superfluous.

Oh nevermind!

It's certainly a strong positive that he has already earned a positional coaching job, especially given his last name. One would think Steve has worked diligently to fight off any potential airs of nepotism, and we all know Bill would never play that.

It's pretty rare that the son of the best guy ever at his job not only enters the same vocation but does so with full effort and intent. Bill should be proud of him.

My thinking as well. After an extensive investigation by Ted Wells the NFL have devised that out is more poultry than not that Steven Belichick is like his dad. The league is taking their first round picks in perpetuity as a result.

I hope BB is teaching him the finer points of writing on a ****tail napkin.

From the picture it looks like he inherited BB's "What are you, an idiot?" stare.
A real smhuck. Won't be long before he's in the war room destroying this team! Bill has become Doc Rivers 2.0. How long before McDaniels' son is the QB coach?

I thought Steve handled the interview really well. It must be amazing to work with his dad. Hopefully he continues to improve so Bill doesn't have to fire him. That would be awkward. But I wouldn't put it past BB.

"We did what we felt was best for the team."
