Time to bring out heavy hitters and expose goodell* & his accomplices*

Warren is, unless you think getting big banks and the people who run them to pay for the situation they put us in, isn't worthwhile

I love what Warren is doing, but the senate as a whole is pretty worthless right now.

Can't hurt. The House, Senate and Exec office aren't doing a damn thing anyway....

Time for everybody to start calling their Senators and demanding they look into this whole fiasco

Time to duck. Here come the partisan politics reactions...
So you think this is worse than Herr Goodell and his henchmen in charge of the NFL?

I'm not sure what you're point is. Perhaps it'll help if I clarify: I expect the partisan political reactions to come from posters here. Personally, I don't care if it's political pandering or not. I'm simply grateful that someone in office, regardless of her/his party affiliation, is finally trying to help.

This might be the way to go. The NFL has an anti-trust exemption,i'm pretty sure congress snooping around and investigating how they operate is the last thing they want.

They gave up the tax-exempt designation, in part so they don't have to disclose Goodell's salary anymore.

OTOH, they still rely on an anti-trust exemption.

That's what I meant to post, not tax exempt.

I just contacted Sen. Shaheens office and told her to go after the NFL big time and hold their feet to the fire
Are you a constituent of the Senator?
If so, call five of your constituent friends, ask them to do the same and then call five of their constituent friends...and so on...

Harry Reid agrees:

Harry Reid: 'I agree with Donald Trump' on Tom Brady

**** it, let's do this. Let's see how okay with this the owners are if their anti-trust exemption comes under threat. I know it almost certainly won't come to this, but I'd really really like for it to. I could see Angus King and Elizabeth Warren getting on board pretty easily.

I have very mixed feelings about this. I believe in the separation of sport and state :rolleyes:but I'm pretty PO'ed at the Brady situation.

More people should, that'd be a hell of a way to earn some brownie points...

And this champion against wall street and the banksters voted against a bill auditing the fed . . .
