bit him in the a**.

Who would thunk it?

"Watch out what you wish for -- you might get it."

It was an interesting way to decide a game.

His whole idea was to make it challenging and important to make things exciting. So he got that wish for the game

Yes the offense was a mess. No question about that. However there is a certain irony to this matter.

Anyone who blames this loss on the missed xpoint is an idiot. This is all on the o-line and Brady's picks.

It is a kinda poetic ending to the season. However lets not pretend that Ghost missed a XP with only seconds left. There was enough time to make up for it and we fell short. It's not any different from a QB missing a wide open TD on third down except it cost fewer points.

BB getting bit in the ass was the overall theme of the season.
31 of 32 teams get bit in the ass. Despite problems with the o-line, I was proud of the team these past two weeks. In particular, this was a thrilling game that went down to the wire against a bitter rival. Although it hurts, better the close loss than the disgrace that was the Arizona Cardinals. Now that is what it means to get annihilated.

Without Lewis or an offensive line worth its salt, the Patriots went 5-5 from the midpoint of the regular season and into the playoffs. It is time to do some housecleaning on the o-line, at running back, and with Lafell, but otherwise this is a solid team that could easily perform better next season with a better bill of health and a few roster moves. Thanks for the season Pats.

Yes and that irony is without a doubt meaningless.

I think what really but him in the ass was his o-line falling to pieces down the stretch

The XP has made the games more competitive and interesting for sure this season. I think BB loves it, no regrets at all...

Really it was just his first pick that was a total disaster and lead to an easy TD for the Broncos

The 2nd pick was basically like a punt, they didn't score off of that one but it still killed our drive

The fact that Gost pulled a Gary Anderson is disappointing to say the least, and the math of it cost the team overtime, but he was bound to miss at some point.

That only proves that when it's not meant to be, it's not meant to be. If that makes sense.

Let's hope Denver gets crushed in the SB and we revenge them again next season.

I console myself with the fact that even if he had not missed it only ties the game. It's by no means a foregone conclusion that we win it given our other overtime ventures this year.

The fact that we should have kicked a FG earlier and had that last touchdown WIN THE GAME, without even the luxury of an XP is what bothers me more. Because those two last throws would have been damn legendary.

Meh I'm cool with the rule. Gostkowski shanked a 32 yarder at an important moment. The best kicker in the league shouldn't do that.

moving the XP back isn't why von miller was getting to Brady in less then 2 seconds.
