HGH MANNING

"I think we were focused on New England," cornerback Aqib Talib said. "We just knew we were going to tear Andrew Luck and the Colts, get them up out of here and get ready to go to New England. So, when I look back on last year, there was a lot of, 'Next week when we go to New England we've got to play Gronk like this.' There was a bunch of future talk when we didn't even get the Colts yet."

The Broncos believe the coaching staff wasn't dialed in either, as coordinators Jack Del Rio and Adam Gase were interviewing for head coaching jobs, and John Fox let it be known even before kickoff that Chicago was his kind of town.

"I don't think we had all-the-way focus," cornerback Chris Harris Jr. said. "Everybody had their minds set on trying to get paid, coaches were trying to leave and go get head coaching jobs. So, I mean, we had a lot of scrambling and stuff going on last year. I think this year everybody's more focused. Everybody's bought in.
Wow..way to throw everyone else under the bus

And this year you have this:

NFL Playoffs: Broncos vow not to make same mistake and overlook Steelers

So THIS year the Broncos are saying they won't overlook a lesser team.

Think the Steelers might be a tad more motivated being disrespected like this?
PRIMED PASSER: Peyton Manning's teammates say the five-time MVP looks like his old self — maybe even better — as he gets set for his first start in 64 days.

"Eighteen is a little more amped up, to be honest," C.J. Anderson said.
"I think he's looked great," tight end Virgil Green said. "He's been throwing the ball very accurately, putting a lot of oomph on the ball, throwing the ball deep, short, medium. ... So, I think he's looked like the Hall of Fame Peyton he's always looked like."
The only thing which might help his choking habit is that he knows he will probably be not back so might play loose.

This is a pretty good (realistic) article about Manning from the Denver Post Kiszla: Broncos will get to the Super Bowl if Peyton Manning doesn't mess up

Small Sample "
Manning has not been great in a long time. For more than a year, his performance has been barely adequate. In his last 16 games, dating to a victory in November 2014 against Kansas City, Manning's quarterback rating has been 71.7. And that's not good."

They aren't good enough to beat the Pats on the moon or wherever without NFL help. Nevermind the Super Bowl.

I agree but this was written Thursday and I am not going to knock them on that because we didn't know if Bill had the team playing preseason possum or if they were devastated.

I don't know about anyone else but I am fascinated by this afternoon's game between Pittsburgh and HGH MANNING. I think Kubiak is making a big mistake starting HGH and will be in a position halfway through the game of having to decide whether or not to replace HGH with Osweiler and possibly end one and done's career in ignomy. Imagine if you will the look on HGH's face if Osweiler takes over for him? I have, and I'm hoping to find a way to capture it and frame out to hang on my wall in case I need a good laugh. Now given how bad Pittss pass defense it is possible this doesn't come to fruition but imo HGH is toast and Kubiak is going to have a tough decision to make by halftime on this game.

*It's also possible that Archie Manning overrules Kubiak and the league instructs Kubiak to play HGH for the entire game.

Thoughts?

Well tell us how you really feel. ;)

I think given Pittsburgh's problems they live or die by their defense and they have got to be game planning how to hit and hurt Manning. My guess is that Denver wins but that for Denver it is a Pyrrhic victory.

I can't argue with this at all, Peyton Manning may be the greatest huddler of all time.

Screw it, I'm just going to call it right now, Peyton Manning is the GHOAT!
