Somebody's got to save this one!!

His name says he's The Riddler but his post sounds like he's The Joker.

I think most people will agree the team played lousy today. In fact, anyone who thinks they played well might want to have their noggin checked out.

However, I think people get frustrated with the people saying this team is garbage, saying we're 'one and done', saying this team lacks heart or leadership.

I'm worried with our recent performances, especially our OL play. But I don't see or feel the need to push a narrative that this team should give up now like some people have.
I agree. Give up???? The Pats???? Never. Injuries have taken their toll. I do agree, with some who say , the play calling is horrid. But that's just a result of the roster having injuries with a lot of JAG players who are inexperienced or new to the system and not up to speed on the playbook. IMO...... Hopefully, they get it together. It's only gonna get tougher

So is that what you say if they lose in the playoffs?
This was my worst fear. We couldn't or wouldn't get key players on the field to secure HFA and also have an offense that is anywhere near ready for the playoffs. This dysfunctional crew is going to be hard to fix in 2 weeks by adding guys who aren't t game ready.

Who is expecting them to lose? Any team can win if they make the playoffs and our team has the best coach and QB.

I'm a positive thinker. They've got two weeks and offensive players returning, resting, or shaking rust off.

I've seen the team win three playoff games on the road with no rest after hardly winning any for 25 years.

The question is were they born trolls or did they work at it?

Its funny. The Felgers and Negative Nancies always win (or at least they think they do).

Patriots can go to 6 Super Bowls in 15 years. Win 4 of them. Way, way more than any other NFL team during the same time period.

The Negative Nancies get to post ad nauseam how the Patriots/the coaches suck every year we dont win the Super Bowl or lose in the playoffs.

They get to be "right" 11/15 times.

Just brilliant.

Historically, not always true. You don't get to choose when you have injuries, you have to play with the cards you're dealt.

Sure, just how realistic is it to believe that the Pats will flip a switch and suddenly be in post season form?

IMO, everybody here wanted the Pats to repeat for Brady.

It would have been a giant FU right at Goodell.

Um, I don't think you flip a switch in two weeks, I think you rest and practice and prepare like hell.

Who came up with this flick a switch ********, anyway?

You rest, study and work. If you do it better than other teams and have a decent coach and QB, you might win.

Guess i went through too many years of good teams with good coaches who worked like hell and didn't get there, to think there was some sort of "switch" that made you successful in big games.

So if Denver loses we Get HFA? That's the only obstacle?

It's kind of funny seeing a guy post a thread that pits one group of Pats fans against another, and then when the sh!t hits the fan takes off and hides. He's like the kid who drove drunk, killed 4 people and then ran off to Mexico with mommy.

So, if I complain about the fact that the Pats offense in their first three 3rd downs, all 3rd and longs, ran two running plays and a shuttle pass and didn't come close to converting any of them, what does that make me?

Some of you guys act like we never made the playoffs before...

You get 2 weeks to ***** and moan about how this team is one and done and IF they win the divisional, then they are certainly done in Denver. Why bother to follow this team if all you do is complain. Guess what, they are still, worse case scenario, the 2nd seed, pretty damn impressive...many of you don't realize how good you have it...
Hey look, Patriots just ran the ball again....

The homers that turn a blind eye and said everything will be all right are the REAL problem! This team has major issues right now that are being ignored just because of the record!

I am going to be real. We have lots of holes and not enough guys to fill them. I want them to win it all, but they have a ton of work to do.

Oh please.

Are the homers keeping Belichick from reading your posts?

And you think Pats dont want it ?

You can be a rose colored glasses and tin foil hat wearing homer......most of us see this team for who they and the coaches are RIGHT NOW.....and it is not pretty. Yes a lot of injuries but the lack of leadership, fire, passion and heart in this team right now is troubling to say the least. I have always lived in the "REAL WORLD". Sorry that crushes your idealistic view of what and who this team is right now. I Will keep following our team that has a poor OL, marginal WR, limited pass rush, questionable secondary, and frequent poor offensive play calling (Did I miss anything my fellow realists?!?) for the entire postseason.......GO PATS!!!!

They're playing like they are missing key players.
Missing key players is one thing. Coming out flat with no heart, fire, guts or sack is another. This team mailed it in on an EXTREMELY IMPORTANT AND NECESSARY game....

And the reactions I've gotten are what I've expected...
The reactions you got were as inevitable as the thread you posted... Criticism of the Pats, and the OL in particular, is more than warranted at this point. Sure, some people take it too far, but so did you.
