I mean, he does have more rings than Brady, and that is the only indicator of
a QB's greatness isn't it???

Infact, that should also give him the edge over Marino, Young, Manning, and Elway

Hmmmm, Interesting questions all. But what I really wonder is.......... Should your SB ring even count if you play like **** and the game is the lamest in the history of LAME games.

Fair questions, one and all.

Hey flaming jack@$$,
Are you aware your boy frankenstein had the lowest passer rating throughout the Colts playoff run of any QB to have won a SB since the passing rules were changed in 1977? (That includes Trent Dilfer). Are you aware that young frankenstein had the lowest passer rating of any Qb ever to have won SB MVP? Do you realize that by the numbers he was a total embarassment? If so, wherein lies his "greatness"? I'm sure you would say, "well, he won, didn't he?" To that I reply, "Exactly, fool. That's what we've been saying for years." Am I going to have to rip off your head and crap down your throat again, or will you slink away and leave "football talk" to your betters? Oh, and take the horseshoe out of your @$$, (ock$u(ker.

Stats don't matter, remember? They won.

Typical Patsie troll response. All i can say is you all better continue to hope Manning never gets as many rings as Brady, because then they might not even be mentioned in the same sentence

Well you better hope Brady doesn't get anymore rings, because then it will be Brady, Montana, and everyone else.

It works both ways, bud.

You're calling him a troll! If you can't handle the obvious responses to your stupid ??? on a Patriot's forum, then either get off this forum or pull your head out of your ***** and enjoy the sunlight!

how old are you? Did you seem them all play? Actually, I would indeed rank Bradshaw over Marino, Young, and Manning. Of that group only Elway I would rank higher. And all time I would only take Montana, Unitas,Elway, and maybe Staubach over him.

watch some film. Bradshaw had a cannon of an arm, amazing courage, and was a terrific athlete., not to mention one of the best big game QB's EVER.

Problem with your logic is that it is not terribly fair to compare one QB's complete career to another guy who is probably only half done.

Yep, as you say, Brady is three times better than Manning.

I'm surprised you admit this.

Hahahahahahahahahahha, What a D-bag. How is a guy defending the Pats (on a Pats board), a troll. What a tard.

You can't use the correct verbal tense? I think you are a fool. How's that? Now I believe you wanted to ask: "was Terry Bradshaw better than Tom Brady?" The answer is no. . . . . .why? Because that's what I think.

Oh yeah, Terry Bradshaw doesn't play in the NFL any longer. Simpleton Colts fan. . . .worst state in the union has got to be Indiana. Keep your illiteracy in your own state, and on your teams message board. Beat it buddy!

What are you eleven years old. So you are trying to put Bardy down by comparing him to Bradshaw. You do know that Branshaw was a great QB. One of the best big game performers in any sport. His record proves that. Between him and Brady would be a good guess if presented in a half way intelligent way. By the why I would take Bradshaw three times faster then Manning in a big game no question about it.

yeah thats really fair to compair a guy whos retired to a guy whos still got several good years left. Bradys best years are prob yet to come. If you are gonna compair brady to a retired player as you want to, compair him to montana or aikman, because his carrer is more on par with those two. I will predict though that by the time brady does retire, he will be arguably the best to ever play.

I cant wait to see how Brady does with the kind of receivers he finally has know. People focus on the Moss and Stallworth catching bombs all the time. With their speed im looking more at the Montana to Rice and Taylor type timing plays where the Yards after Catch really pile up. Nobody since Montana can make that play like Brady where the receive gets it in full stride.
Give Brady 2 more HOF type seasons and another ring and he'll be in top 5 for sure. To be me Montana,Unitas, and Elway are the royalty that it would take about 5 more years to crack. But 2 more great ones and i'd give him #4

No, here in NE we go by stats too. It's just that we realize that you have two of the best receivers in the game, while in the past 4 years or so we've had one of the worst. This year we should really see how good Brady really is. If he doesn't put up the great stats, I dont care, I'd still take him any day over Peyton Manning without thinking about it.

If your team had 1:30 left to score a touchdown, you can't honestly tell me you'd take Manning over Brady. If you did, I'd laugh at you.

hey, I live in Indiana...

But I am definitely NOT a colts fan. I cannot find it in me, to support such an overrated team. And either way, the Colts don't look to be getting much better, and the patriots only keep improving. I doubt I will ever see a QB that could do more with the receivers that Brady has had. But for some reason, statistically, I could see about 10 NFL QBs that could do just as good as manning with his receivers.

Only 1 other quarterback in NFL history has performed as well in the big games as Brady has. #16 for San Francisco. Many QBs can back into a ring. None can back into 3. Bradshaw's resume is outstanding, but he did it under much different terms than Brady. Heck, even Montana had it a little easier. This is the age of NFL parity. Of the salary cap, and organizations being forced to break up championship teams, or at least replace crucial parts. Bradshaw threw to Stallworth and Swann. Montana to Rice and Taylor. Brady? He won a Super Bowl throwing to Troy Brown, David Patten, and Charles Johnson. With Antowain Smith in the backfield.

There's much more than just "ring count." While being a champion is a distinguishing characteristic, it's how you go about winning the title, and getting your team there that cements your legacy. Brady has picked his team up and led them to the Super Bowl 3 times, and twice had the ball in his hands and delivered a world championship on the last drive. Indianapolis won last season in spite of Manning's poor postseason performance.

See the difference yet?
