Multiple. One I can disclose is Jim Trotter the San Diego tribune reporter, who also reported on Seau's intention to resign with NE this year, and initially reported Seau's signing with NE last year. It's legit trust me.

I'm not talking about his report last week. Seau's in the area today. Trotter (Among other people) claim Seau's in town today, and Trotter said this within the past HOUR.

I just want to add that our boy still has to pass said physical before he can officially be a member of the '07 Patriots, so let's hope he passes.

I don't think THAT will be a big problem....Not sure what the source is...Trotter hasn't mentioned that online in any blog that I know of...so maybe you know first hand from him or???

It was verbal, not something he's published in a report. I could call him asking if he's going to at least publish a little blurb about this, but I don't really want to.

I was informed that Jim Trotter reported this information during a TV interview with ESPN early today, as well.


Added Info: During said ESPN interview Trotter claimed Junior Seau was in town, and expected to take his physical today.

I understand if you know him that well..that telling us is basically coming from him...but I understand how on these boards, sources are so important..heard some odd ones over the years..."my uncle's cousin was in a gym with a friend of an uncle of xxxxxx"....

If I know the poster then I am much more willing to take their word on something than if they are new and I don't know if they are the type to post crap.

Listen to the guy's from Patriots Football Weekly talking about Jim Trotter and his report's on Seau (among other roster moves). They talk about how accurate Trotter has been when it comes to his reporting on both Seau and Harrison, and how he has a good relationship with those specific players, because he used to be a SD beat writer.

FWIW the guys at Patriots Insiders report that one of the UDFAs (Dennis Poland) was released/waived to make room for Seau.

I saw the report of Poland's on the ticker at NFLnetwork. Whether or not he was released to make room for Seau remains to be seen.

They sure are taking their sweet time with this.

For future reference, please list a source in your first post. If you're unable to post a link to the source, then simply say you heard it or saw it on such and such media outlet. But to name no source at all leaves some of us mighty curious (to say the least).
