Brady's response through Don Yee

Since Bill and Bob were exonerated in the report, the risk of a hefty penalty levied against the organization is low and it's up to Tom to appeal his punishment anyway. People are giving far to much weight to what is functionally a throwaway line in Kraft's statement.

That throwaway line is tantamount to leaving TB and his entire legacy out to dry.

BB owes much of his success to Brady, who he repeatedly refers to as his "son", "family" etc.

Kraft took Spygate lying down, which caused irrevocable and everlasting damage this the reputation and legacy of the team/BB/Brady.

And now this? After how well Kraft has treated S**thead-Dell? Kraft should be going nuclear on the entire NFL and Ted Wells. Anything less is frankly a huge betrayal of Brady, the Team, and the fans.

Yet, McNally and Jastremski's logs showed no texts between them and Brady according to the reports.. Hmm..

It has several texts and phone calls from Brady to Jastremski and vice-versa. Brady was either checking up on him or asking him to call him when he had "a sec." However, when you are being accused of deflating balls, only a fool would not call up his equipment manager and see what happened that day. His phone calls with him lasted about 2 minutes in one, :22 secs, :10 secs, just small conversations really. If I were trying to hide something, my conversation with them would've lasted well over those times.

The report is garbage. The only thing that seemed shady was Brady's text to meet Jestremski in the QB room. Then again, Brady could've been telling the truth when he told investigators that he was talking about Superbowl arrangements and preparations for the balls.

No science backs up this report, the text messages do not back up the report. Reasons and excuses from the ball boy, the equipment manager and Brady didn't make any logical sense, or something along those lines, to Ted Wells, according to Wells' report. The only thing that made sense to Wells was his own interpretation of the text messages and apparently he concluded that Brady bribed the boys into deflating footballs. This Wells proved what I've been saying all along and that is the referees are not doing their job and had no clue what the PSI in those balls were, they did the squeeze test and went about their business.

As I said before, if Brady gets suspended or retire because of this BS, I will be officially done with the league. Garropolo taking this team to another SB and winning it back to back would not be enough to redeem the BS Kraft has laid upon Brady and his own organization.

But Brady is the one who is the victim, not the Patriots. I'm not suggesting Tom shouldn't stand up for himself. But I don't think any good can come out of Robert recklessly taking shots at the media or the League for that matter. They would only expose themselves to further unfounded allegations - not to mention risk straining the trust that Kraft has built with League officials and friends. Kraft can only do so much. He has other responsibilities as a businessman and owner that go beyond Brady.

Really puts the blatant lie to Kraft's recent apparently BS statements that BB & Tom were "family".
Some family when one of yours is under intense fire and you flee the foxhole holding a white flag.

Time for the old coot to retire & pass on the reins.

The NFL picked a fight with the wrong person, who has enough $$$$ to fight the NFL. This is far from over and IMO the NFL is going to regret they started an investigation. If I am Roger this statement wouldn't have me feeling all warm and fuzzy inside.

"It is a sad day for the league as it has abdicated the resolution of football-specific issues to people who don’t understand the context or culture of the sport. I was physically present for my client’s interview. I have verbatim notes of the interview. Tom made himself available for nearly an entire day and patiently answered every question. It was clear to me the investigators had limited understanding of professional football. For reasons unknown, the Wells report omitted nearly all of Tom’s testimony, most of which was critical because it would have provided this report with the context that it lacks."

The Patriots have made huge errors in thinking they should remain "classy" I was hoping after the Super bowl win they would have taken action head on and made some sort of statement whether verbal or not. They should have snubbed Goodell, or gone Bart Scott on the media. They should have turned their backs on old Roger, how would that have looked? Why is it ok for other teams to rant and rave after wins?

In today's America, "class" is an extinct animal.

Today only the loud, boisterous, and boorish get noticed and appreciated.

Taking the 'silent, high road' has been killing the Pats' for 10 years running. And yet, Kraft plans to stick with the same plan.

Guilty by silence.

It's time for them to really embrace what the NFL wants them to be, and be the bad guy. Fight back.

This really has become the WWE after all.

I disagree. It is an admission that any fight would be futile and only further damaging to the brand and the league. The door is still open for Tom to appeal the decision and I'm sure Kraft will fully support him in doing so.

F**k the league! What about reputation?

The white hat makes people feel good for a little while.

The black hat makes them feel alive.

I knew that Wells couldn't come out and condemn the NFL in this report, but wasn't aware that he's been in on the conspiracy from the start
How could he come to a truthful decision when the NFL lines his pockets with $$$$? This entire investigation and report has been a joke from the start.

Kraft and BB should be backing their HOF QB 100 percent.

Instead Kraft ran away with his tail between his legs and BB has decided to stay silent again not backing his QB.

It seems awful fishy that they have and continue to feed Tom Brady to the wolves. Tom Brady is being labeled as a liar and a cheater and I can't fathom how the Patriots org is not backing him up and supporting him.

This situation is going to hurt the patriots. org for a long long time if they continue to turn there backs on Tom Brady.

I think Bill said what he is going to say about the matter back in January, and I thought what he said was perfect.

Yes he did, but I also think he thought everyone in the Patriots Org would be cleared 100 %.

To my knowledge he has also never publicly supported Brady from the beginning with this. It was ask Tom..Ask Tom, the Patriots have no knowledge of deflated footballs. He can easily say in a small statement I support Tom Brady 100% in this matter. Staying quiet is a copout.

I think the NFL made the wrong person mad...and I think its Giselle. I don't think she will let this bs stand. Yea she stays out of his NFL stuff but this is different. This effects her husband kids and family . She will be on his case to not take this sitting down.

It's a powerful response. Now Kraft needs to come out and publicly speak against the league office. Will he do it, though? That remains to be seen. I can certainly hope that he gets tired of watching the league and the media run the train on his quarterback.

He had better. After the Super Bowl speech, I was certain he would go after any hatchet job on his team or players. The flaccid "we will accept the NFL's decision" crap is wholly unacceptable, because it is normal to infer the innocent fire back when falsely accused. He looked willing to do it after the win. Time to show those words were the truth, and not some pretty public statement in the post-game celebration.

In reality there is not much she can do publicly.

But she has a lot of cash that can be used on lawyers and if what I understand is true, she is just like Tom. Very competitive, fiercely protective of her family and someone you really don't want t f__k with.

Remember the stories of her bodyguards firing shots at pesky reporters when the Bradys were in Costa Rica?
Good times. Good times.
