16 m is too much. Leave that crap to the doofins. Tommy dont get that. Revis don't get that. The Patriot way. Where you been?

Tom doesn't get that because he's a goddamned saint relative to the world of professional athletes. But he deserves it and much much more. Bless him that he doesn't want it for whatever reason, charitable or pragmatic.

Some players are obviously emotional about tonight.

The jests suck but u would think there has to be added pressure to win next year now after all this christmad shopping.

We won the Super Bowl for one year. Its our goal as the preeminent organization in sports to win one every year. Now obviously that won't happen but to say his purpose was fulfilled is asinine.

congrats new york. they win offseasons, too bad they'll be lucky to win 5 games with geno smith playing qb.

The jests are awful but they got better no matter how u cut it. Those games wont be easy. Geno looked a pro bowler against us. Brady is gonna have to go back to carrying our defense.

I think it's fair to blame Revis for a "paltry few million" just as easily . But his choice, his character was plain for all to see, we just didn't want to believe it.

Says it all. Just was watching a rewind of Revis after the SB saying how the defense's job was to get the ball back to Brady and all would be fine. Can you picture him having such faith in Gee No Smith? All that to get a few extra million he'll never spend?

So long Darelle, we hardly knew ya.

Enjoy your home in the swamps of New Jersey.

Guess it is better to have loved and lost, than to never have loved before.

We'll always respect his ability and 2014 contributions. We'll wish him well in life. But, he's a JET now and that changes everything football related. I wonder how he'll feel come January 2016.

I am obviously sad to see him go. He is a top player. But i never really had hope of him staying. he was a 1 year rental. It was a great decision and we won the SB.

Now we have to look to the future for our secondary and see what we have. Is Arrington/Ryan/Dennard/Butler good enough?

I am not sure. But we'll see how the FA cards fall.

A better bank balance, but a worse life, IMHO.

So many folks talking about Spiller, Bush and Harvin.

Still not sure how they replace Revis and Browner with these guys..but Oh well. I think people just want a substantial acquisition right now....whether it makes sense or not.

Truth is, AT THIS MOMENT, we are in deep doo doo on defense...other than our Linebackers..we are average or god awful in every other area.

We have sucked at drafting DBs...

If I didn't know any better....I would guess the team is positioning itself for a final run with Brady in 2016...I don't know who will be available in pre 2016...but something to look forward too.

People already started saying we won the SB because of Revis, cut the crap, he was part of the team, helped on the road to the SB but we won the SB because we have the GOATs at QB and coach.

Thanks Revis for being a pro while here but I wish you a rich but frustrating football experience with the Jets.

By the way..if anyone feels that either Dennard or Ryan are ready to make a jump to the next level...I just want you to know...drugs are bad.

The only way to cover a bad secondary is to get better upfront. BB will probably do the opposite and draft another damn corner. Get
a nasty d line!!

LMAO at the thought of anyone saying "as a defence we knew all we had to-do was get the ball back in Geno's hands".

Never hurts to remember that is the man he's chosen to lead him through his remaining contract years.

Well, 5 hours later and I'm still pissed off.

At least wait for the full picture to emerge before getting really angry. The waiting time until the draft is long enough anyway.
