Yahoo's super early power rankings are interesting. They have the Pats #1 and the Seahawks are #2 and the Broncos are at #7, I'm sure some Broncos fans will be complaining about how they cant stand how Brady is given all these weapons and they don't care what it takes they need to spend big on free agency to fix their defense. They do have some teams in interesting spots, New Orleans and Atlanta are both bottom 10 and I really like the write up for the Texans.

21. Houston Texans
Have we gotten a decent explanation yet why the Texans didn’t draft Derek Carr? Or why they weren’t the team to move up for Teddy Bridgewater? Are they waiting for the next Andrew Luck to come along before picking a quarterback?

Bill O'Brien better hope that Mallet is the answer for him because there is nobody in this years draft after Mariota, Winston and Hundley.

As for the Patriots at #1, it really banks on the Pats keeping Revis and McCourty. What do you all think?

My surprise team who finishes a respectable 8-8 or 7-9 in a weak div. Tenn is going nowhere and even though I wish Mallet well I think the QB situation in Hou remains a mess and they regress under BOB.

30. Jacksonville Jaguars

Blake Bortles didn’t have the rookie season everyone in Jacksonville hoped for, but you saw glimpses of the talent. Year 2 is enormous for him, just to show the franchise it has the right quarterback going forward. The Jaguars also have a massive amount of cap space to help him in free agency

With the 199th pick in the draft, the NEP select.....

I like Houston. If they split with Indy, why can't they win that division ? Clowney would have to help. The QB situation needs to clear up/stabilize. I just see them as "not as soft" and I don't find soft teams like Indy suddenly make noise. Unless it's whining.

Did not expect this:

3. Seattle Seahawks
I think they figure it out and bring Marshawn Lynch back, even with Russell Wilson getting his big contract extension. This is still a young team. It could use a true No. 1 receiver, but that’s not easy to find.

2. New England Patriots
No real reason to move them out of this spot, as long as Bill Belichick and Tom Brady are around. The Patriots will have to try to find a way to bring back cornerback Darrelle Revis. Even if they can’t, you have to assume the organization will have an answer.

1. Malcolm Butlers
After single handedly winning the Super Bowl Malcolm Butler announced he is forming his own expansion team. When asked about his decision Malcolm said "Man, those fools just slowed me down. Let's be real! We had 45 people watching, and one guy winning. There may not be an "I" in team, but there's an "I" in bi!

Editors note: Not actually an "I" in bye, but he's from Alabama.

I know the afc south sucks but Houston would need another mvp season from watt. You need a qb to compete in this league
