Still pretty surreal to me. Truly unbelievable ending to the season couldn't have been anymore perfect.

I haven't been able to stop smiling for near on two days. I hope it's the same for you all.

Truthfully, I'm overjoyed for the Patriots organization given just how good they've been over a long period of time. #4 was long overdue.

This was a great Super Bowl. I've been thinking about it almost nonstop. Just want to take this opportunity to congratulate all the Patriots fans on a great season and a great dynasty.

Has not sunk in. Did we just wait 10 years for that? 10 years of pain reading about this almost every day.

Really sunk in today, yesterday was spent watching all of the news coverage (and snow blowing) and today is the F*CK YEAH day

I keep rewatching videos of fans reacting to the Butler pick.

My fave is:

"He picked it! He f**king picked it! He picked the f**king ball! Whooooo!" (runs out of the room)

Feels like it was such a long road to get back here again. I'm younger and didn't real get obsessed with football until the 2006 season. So I went through that God awful loss in Indy, the 18-1 helmet catch debacle, losing Tom to only miss the play offs with an 11-5 record. Then the 09 slump, the I don't know what the **** happened divisional loss to the Jets, Then again with the damn Giants, well you get the point.

When Kearse made that catch I could not believe it. I thought we were cursed and I'd never see em win one. When Butler picked that ball I lost it. Best night as a sports fan ever. No better feeling the celebrating with fellow fans and my husband.

I've just been trying to soak it all in because for me this was the first one I witnessed. And I've learned over the last 10 years these games are hard to win.

Hope you guys are enjoying it just as much.

P.S. Hell yes I freaking cried!! :)

Whats hit me more than anything is the NFL season is over. Now it couldnt have ended in any better of a way but damn its going to be a long off season! Not a NBA guy, I like college hoops but man the regular season is useless so...see you guys around draft time.

I've got unbelievably stressful stuff going on right now, with a parental health and care crisis, a child having a difficult time, and a new business start up funding project, and a handful of other things, and I'm smiling anyway. I actually asked my wife if she thought something was out of balance that a football game could make me so happy and she just looked at me and said, "no, not at all, you really need it."

So thanks Pats!

I'm happy yes, but for some reason the win feelings seem to fade faster then the once of the losses. lol. Yesterday I had the day off, just to be sure, and I spend time deep into the night after the Sb and parts of yesterday bathing in the great result and highlights. I hope seeing some parade footage (as I am not in Boston I cannot go) will bring back a bit more good vibes .. then it is off to the bore of the off season.
Until the bluray comes in ;)

It has hit me and I'm still flying high. It will probably take some time for the grin to come off my face.

I can't wait for 3 Games to Glory IV to come out.

good luck buddy! Glad that the Pats were able to bring some kind of a pleasant diversion. :)

on the OP: it is S L O W L Y starting to sink in. :)

I was a bit more casual earlier - acting as if this is quite normal for us - and admitted that I was relieved.

and now I am truly happy and the elation is slowly picking up, just like a nice single malt does on a cold day. :)

It will be sky high once the NFL is done with the deflate gate and admits that it was much ado about nothing.

It will probably hit me when I see those duck boats in person tomorrow which then I'll be even more happy.

I woke up this morning from a dream in which the Pats lost the Super Bowl. I woke up depressed. When my senses finally returned to me and I remembered the truth, I let out a loud whoop. :D

I'm still numb by it all! It really still hasn't sunk in for me! I always said if/when the Pats number 4 I didn't how I'd react! I still think I'm dreaming!

I posted this already before the SB but ****ing crazy this ended up being true, I do NOT take credit for this took it from PFT comments.
Lions lose to Cowboys in heartbreaking fashion.
Cowboys lose to Packers in heartbreaking fashion.
Packers lose to Seahawks in heartbreaking fashion.
Seahawks lose to Patriots in heartbreaking fashion.

Sure hit "Darius" Butler hard, people keep congratulated him even his own alumni... ouch.

While "Malcolm" Butler got a truck and free drinks for life in New England.

Still bathing in the after glow..I was preparing for a loss after that miracle catch and said here we go again..When Butler intercepted the feeling of joy was overwheming and still is..

The undrafted free agent from western Alabama made the play of the century!!!
I can't stop thinking about the Super Bowl victory for the Patriots.
I've had the NFL Network on non-stop since the final gun went off on Sunday!!!!
