William Pitts of NBC 12 in Phoenix reports that the Phoenix police say they were called to Sapp’s room at a hotel when a woman reported an assault. There were two women in the hotel room and there was an argument going on over money.

“While there [Sapp] was questioned and admitted involvement in the act of prostitution, but denied assaulting the females,” police said.

I'm not on twitter but heard on espn radio that Jeremy Shockey is having a lot of fun with this on twitter.....apparently Sapp must have done the integrity thing about the Saints when he was there. LOL

Warren Sapp has been terminated from NFL Network following his arrest for soliciting a prostitute and assault in Phoenix early Monday morning. The news of the arrest was first reported by TMZ and ABC 15 in Phoenix.

Sapp has been an analyst with the network since 2008. Upon contact from SI this afternoon, an NFL Network spokesperson initially offered, "Warren Sapp has been suspended indefinitely without pay from NFL Network pending the outcome of ongoing police investigation." The spokesperson later confirmed to SI that Sapp no longer worked for the network.

Basically accused Shockey with a "source" claiming he was the snitch in the bounty gate. Wonder if Strahan is going to pile on? He might be too classy for that though.

I'm actually more surprised that Sapp was having that much trouble getting laid. You'd think that a guy that's on TV wouldn't have to buy some slizz but I guess not.

How stupid can he be??? It sounds like the argument was over $$ and he should not be hurting in that area. When I was in the service it was always preached "If you are going to engage in those activities, pay well and tip well and you will never have a problem". If he would have just tossed a few more bills to the women he would still have his job and nobody would ever know...

The problem with illegal activities, even those illegal activities that probably should not BE illegal (pot smoking, prostition, etc...) is the type of people you end up involved with.
