Brady sick + Seahawks fan noise could = Silent Count for Pats. Ask Broncos how that worked out.

So we are playing in seattle then...

Seattles fan base grew 26% after last years SB win...most growth ever. I wish i could post the link but a Seattle paper/new company did a study/survey ect
Yeah, but fair weather fans are less likely to pay big bucks to go to the Super Bowl. They'll just sit home and watch on their big screen TVs.

Wait...Brady's sick?

Ross Tucker has his moments but silly tweets like this are why I stopped following him. Just because the Broncos weren't ready for fan does does not mean the Patriots won't be. We've played in plenty of loud stadiums and done fine. If there's a significant noise disadvantage, that sucks and hurts us some. But to suggest that John Fox preparing his team for a game = Bill Belichick preparing his team for a game is just silly.

Ross Tucker likes to tweak Pats fans. I have no concrete knowledge about this, but I'd bet cash that ol' Ross's departure from NE was something less that amicable.

I was at the Jacksonville SB game. It was a home + game for Philly. My friends with the SB ticket connection were from California had gone to 20 plus Super bowls told me they had never seen anything like it. Pats fans were outnumbered at least 8 to 1 in the stadium and 20 to 1 outside it. I went to the Houston SB as well and it was a totally different atmosphere. much closer to even.

The Pats won the game in Jacksonville ;)

Without thinking I brought a green jacket to the Jacksonville game. There is no doubt I would have been in trouble walking back to my rental car after the game alone in my Bruschi shirt if I had not put that jacket over it. I have been to Pats/Jets game at Metlife and it does not come even close to comparing.

BB will have them ready for an away game and there is no way Seahawk fans will be worse than the Eagle fans.

FYI - my connection to SB tickets has passed on. Pats are 2-0 in games I have attended and I consider my presence to be a major factor in each win .....
Just saying if anyone can part with a ticket at face value which is the deal I used to get...

I prefer Brady with a 104 degree fever but I guess a simple cold will have to do.

Their travel is shorter...more of them I'd guess.

Lots of Microsoft money in Seattle with nothing to do. Seahawks travel well.

It's even shorter for people in Southern Cal (remember the San Diego game) as well as for Cardinals fans (who don't like the Hawks). We shall see how it turns out, but I don't expect the numbers to be wildly in Seattle's favor.

We New Englanders tend to be to cool for school. The attitude around here is "Only a bunch yahoos would blow the kids college fund on a trip to the Superbowl." Plus....look at Seattle's pro sports history. Prior to last year...their greatest memory was Jack Sikma and Dennis Johnson in the NBA finals. They've got a a lot of pent up enthusiasm.

If the fans are heavily favored towards Seattle, there's one sure way to shut them up !!!!

I keep refreshing stubhub, seatgeek, razorgator and tiqiq in hopes of tickets going down so I can help the pats get some crowd noise, but tickets keep going up...

I hope there are more Pats fans there I can't stand the whole 12th man stuff. I want a sea of blue and white patriots jerseys.

Was at the NYG rematch in Indy. Never saw any numbers or anything, but seemed staggeringly in favor of NY, somewhere around 5:1.

The airlines were price gouging too , we checked the night of the AFCC after the win...and flights on SW out of Bradley were around $350, next day up to $800 and change...by Wed close to $1200, we actually were out there for 3 weeks just before the playoffs for my oldest's graduation from ASU.
Told the wife we should've held off , that he would've understood ! :)

I will be there representing #Embracethehate nation with five other pats fans!! We just scored tickets today!! Can't Wait!!

Definitely outnumbered in Indy. Guessing that will happen in AZ too

From Reiss:

Belichick called the field conditions “great,” yet did tweak the environment as music – rap, rock, hip-hop – blared for an extended portion of the team drills. Belichick typically pipes in noise to help with concentration and communication, but ease up now.

“In this game, you know, it’s kind of a neutral field, so you’ve got to be ready for it,” Belichick said.
