nice strawman argument you twat, because I said that Patriots were criminally responsible right
sorry the media didn't dictate that 11 of the 12 balls to be deflated. that is reality. You can whine all you want, this forum is a good sounding board for your angst ridden adolescent woe is me diatribe. But reality is there is an active investigation with a team that has a history of these allegations.

And don't put yourself in bill belichick's shoes, you certainly aren't fit to do that type of role playing
The media? It must be true.,,, And we filmed practices too.:p

I love when people run their mouth about how right they are, then when you break down their "argument" to its lowest common denominator and simply ask them to defend it, they basically have to admit they have no idea WTF they're talking about and move their goal post to "oh, I'm just speculating," which means slinging mud and parroting the baseless tales of tabloid news.

Run along.

Everything about this fiasco is speculation at this point. All we know is that Indy made an issue out of deflated footballs and 11 of 12 were found to be deflated. That's why this board is such a mess right now. Everyone and there mother has an opinion on it, but nobody really has any facts.

Given the history of how Tom prefers less pressure in the ball and our knowledge of Belichicks win at all cost attitude, it does seem like our beloved team is in some bit of trouble. How much is the question. Hopefully they can't prove anything and the repercussions are minimal. I'd hate to lose draft picks or worse, have Bill get suspended, but everything is so up in the air right now.

Reminds me of when the Hernandez story first broke. All question, no answers. Give it another 48 hours, no way the NFL let's this drag another weekend into next week.

Between politics and sports media, I for one am getting tired of the idea of news media as entertainment. I wish they would just stick to the facts and stop trying to advance specific storylines. Where did it all go so wrong?

Once again, I'm so sorry the public school system has failed you in such spectacular fashion. Tom Brady played superior football AFTER the problem was fixed. Again, ESPN just said they ran computer tests on footballs in a lab all day long and found the pressure in the footballs in question lowered pass velocity and allowed a 1.5% better grip.

1.5%.

You didn't learn logic, reason, or critical thinking skills in school, obviously, but did you at least learn what 1.5% is? 1.5% of a dollar is a penny and a half.

Have you ever risked getting fired from work for a penny?

There is NO motive to SNEAK INTO A ROOM and purposefully deflate footballs.

You're a complete idiot, and no, you're NOT speculating. What you're doing is mindlessly parroting media attacks because you lack the ability to think for yourself.

Once again, I'm so, so sorry.

I cite testimony of actual quarterbacks, you ramble on about nickels and dimes

Go to sleep kid, you are embarrassing yourself

Did I just wake up in Bizzaro World?!

This is what I took away from this video by Jay Glazer:

1. The League already knew of accusations of under inflated balls, either from the previous Colt game or the Ravens.
2. The League was in essence ambushing the Patriots with this at half time, interception or not.
3. The League apparently wanted to catch the Patriots red-handed, not warn them off.
4. Other teams are fed up with the Patriots because they think they get punished for transgressions the Patriots don't get punished for (?!?!?!?!)
5. #4 was repeated a couple different times.

I'm in shock.

This is actually another witch-hunt.

I guess I'm just slow coming to that realization, I was making the mistake that this was simple (yet disgusting) media sensationalism/feeding frenzy.

your reading comprehension skill is truly an indictment of this "public education" system that you keep lambasting, which to be honest I have no experience with having gone to the private schools my entire life.

My statement of "oh I'm just speculating" was intentionally sarcastic. The point was you are simply speculating and that former quarterback who actually have played in this league have already corroborated that deflated ball is better for grip.

but keep counting them pennies

What does Terry Bradshaw doing in the 1970's have to do with under-inflated balls in the AFC Championship game of the 2014 season?

I accused you of lacking reasoning, logic, and critical thinking skills.

Are you trying to make this easy for me, genius?

Hey, everybody, I believe the moon is made out of aluminum and used as an alien base to monitor all human activity. All I need now is proof that the moon is made out of aluminum and used as an alien base to monitor all human activity to show that I'm correct.

yea clearly you have more insight on quarterbacking play in the NFL than terry bradshaw

what more needs to be said in the face of such delusion

ESPN right now is running a segment about their testing today revealing that the footballs being under inflated to the extent that the 1st half balls were under inflated, allowed for a "1.5% better grip but were thrown with less velocity."

1.5% better grip rofl.

This story is a joke and just demonstrated how little credibility the media has, and how STUPID people are who buy into this rubbish
Didn't see this - probably won't watch it... but WOW, what on earth does "better grip" mean? If they don't define it, then LOL in their faces.

Also, detecting a 1.5% difference in anything with any kind of certainty requires pretty substantial precision in instruments which have been recently calibrated, so good on them for coming up with a number that probably fits comfortably within the margin of error for their "experiment."

Are you going to tell me what Terry Bradshaw in the 70's has to do with last Sunday or are you just littering this thread with random trivia?

Terry Bradshaw said he did something with footballs in the 1970's + X = Belichick cheated in 2014 AFC Championship game.

Please tell me more about the amazing education you received at private school.

No I think what Terry Bradshaw said pretty much speaks for itself. Rambling for long paragraphs about pennies and change isn't really my thing. You seem to have that all covered chief, keep on mouthbreathin'

Another strawman. Please keep mouthbreathin, you are amusing me on this otherwise irritating day

It obviously doesn't speak for itself because nobody with a functional brain understands how it equates to Belichick intentionally deflating footballs last Sunday.

that's good, because I didn't make that equivocation. People with reading comprehension skills and not emo raging surely understood that. But I don't mind making it explicit for our local mouthbreather

How it is a straw man? That's what you're trying to argue here.

What does Terry Bradshaw have to do with the New England Patriots? I'm apparently too dumb to understand your leaps of logic so you'll have to do better than telling me it speaks for itself.

Is Terry Bradshaw a New England Patriot?

Does Terry Bradshaw handle footballs for the New England Patriots or the NFL?

WTF does Terry Bradshaw have to do with last Sunday?

It doesn't "speak for itself" in any way what-so-ever. lol

Someone asked this question
what competitive advantage is it proven to give anyone?

and I give actual testimony by real players that played in the NFL that it gave an advantage

and that person still can't put 1 and 1 together

don't know what more I could do.
